Hello, everyone! Rilla Blythe here, on my way out of town to plan a wedding--
*chittering*
No, not my own.
--so let's get to the notes now so I don't miss my portal, all right?
In classes, Mr. Skywalker paired up his ethics students for the week so they can learn about each other's lives, and they talked to each other to decide which days worked best to give the most insight into their lives. Mr. Oz assigned pop culture an essay that is due over the first half of term, and Miss Thorne told him that perhaps students in a pop culture class were expecting something easier. Perhaps you should have taken the philosophy class about movies instead. In the library, Mr. Sabahnur was having trouble keeping the cookbooks in one place, and Miss Lyle stopped in to learn more about the island and left very upset when Mr. Sabahnur demonstrated his unnatural powers of stretching.
It's very odd, Miss Lyle, but most of the people here aren't evil.
*chittering*
Oh, she was worried about him? No need. Most people here are also quite odd in that sort of way. Miss Solo cleaned up her office after a gremlin ransacked it. How terrible! The ransacking, not the cleaning. Cleanliness is a sign of godliness.
In the dormitory, Mr. Rand was playing cards by himself in a way that the squirrels assure me will not lead to illegal activities, which seems like a strange thing to mention, but then Princess Marasiah paid a call and Mr. Rand turned into a wolf.
...well then. I received a call from a friend back home and that's why I'm off to plan a wedding, and Mr. Brink was studying up on colleges, but apparently not well, as when Miss Kennish stopped him, he revealed his complete ignorance of how the process works. That sounded unnecessarily harsh. I apologise, Mr. Brink.
In town, the drama class met again at the Boards, mingling a bit before working on commercials for fake merchandise. Maybe that's where the commercial that caused such confusion in the common room the other day came from? At the end of class, Miss Jane Bennet came down with cookies and a new outfit. That's news?
Mr. Murdoch--hello, Mr. Murdoch!--was working on a portable light to take home with him when he returns to his own time, Miss Sekemoto was swinging a sword around in the park, and Miss Navaan was offering influenza shots at the clinic.
There's a shot for that?! I'm stopping by the clinic and then heading home. Have a good weekend, Fandom! Don't get married without me!
