Friday, March 23rd, 2012 09:52 amGood morning, Fandom! It's a simply gorgeous day today, just perfect for a party, should you be so inclined...
*chittering*
I am not nervous no one will show up. There will be food, dancing, and delightful company. Why wouldn't people come? But there is loads to do before then, so let's get through the notes as quickly as possible, all right?
In class yesterday, Superheroing took pictures of themselves with kittens, which is much better than kicking them. Did everyone else get really odd 'phone messages on Tuesday? Elements of Friendship held a party for their pets, which is also much better than kicking them. Life of the Sea held a discussion about what else they'd still like to learn about: perhaps how fish make good pets? It seems to be a theme here. And Ethics talked about feeding people to tigers as some bizarre form of punishment. Tigers do not make good pets.
In the dormitories, the ladies of Kappa Delta Gremlin planned the party I mentioned at the beginning of the broadcast. We decorated with glitterso much glitter and Miss Edison asked Miss Marin who she'd invited, and then Miss Edison and Miss Fabray talked about the same thing before also discussing the muscial they're both in. I got to hear about Miss Edison's college-related worries. Mr. Andrew Wiggin was checking his email when Mr. Brink stopped by looking for Mr. Skywalker so they could play games together--but not games with Mr. Skywalker's lightsaber.
*squirrelly snickers*
I don't see what's funny about that. Then Mr. Skywalker came back to his room and found out that the emails were related to some sort of governmental strife at home for him. Mr. Black had his cookies and car magazine reading day interrupted by Miss Forbes, who had a gift for him! No word if it was better than the cookies he already had.
Miss Fabray spent the evening inviting people to the crush party, and Miss Norwood had enough Chinese food to share with everyone in the second floor common room. Mister Solo came by for some and learned about Miss Norwood's plans at home after graduation. Mr. Skywalker learned something similar and was also appalled to discover that Mr. Solo hadn't been to the ice cream shoppe in town. That is terrible. Not starving Belgians terrible, but still something that should be fixed. Miss Edison was there too and invited both Miss Norwood and Mr. Solo to the party tonight.
And finally, in town, Miss Scully was doing research at the clinic, Miss Maclay was cleaning up potions at the magic shop, and Miss [Kenzi's last name] was offering half-price drinks for the cast and crew of the play. Speaking of the play, they went through a final dress rehearsal after an inspirational speech from Mr. Bolton, and Miss [Kenzi's last name] and Mr. Kaplan were certainly not panicking. I'm sure that...quite reassuring.
That's all the notes I have! See you at the party, Fandom!
