Friday, January 27th, 2012 10:12 amGood morning, Fandom! Rilla Blythe here on this, well, rather dismal Friday morning. Rain in January shouldn't be allowed, in my opinion. Bring me snow or nothing at all.
In classes yesterday, the Elements of Friendship got to--
*squeals*
fly with pegasuses! Pegasi? Fly with flying ponies! Miss Rapunzel was just as excited as I would have been about it, and then they got try their hands at affecting the weather. If any of you were responsible for it being 60 degrees and rainy today, please turn it off. Thank you. In Ethics the topic turned to if there was anything money shouldn't buy, such as...other people's kidneys. I fear there might be something very wrong with Mr. Skywalker. Superheroing practiced working in teams, where Miss Brown and Miss Thropp combined their two names of Flamethrower and Average Girl to become Medium Heat, Mr. LaCroix had to work with Miss di Glacia, and Miss Daniels was having trouble remembering her superhero name at all.
...I fear there might be something very wrong with Miss Electroclash as well. Sea Life watched a documentary on...erm, sea life...and the sorority met for the first time this semester and we had such fun making cake pops. If you're a girl, you really should try to stop by next week! Miss Gale and I tried to figure out why cake needed to be on sticks, I helped Miss Logan frost her cake pop--
*squirrelly snickering*
What? Then I talked about college with both Miss McGill and Miss Fabray, and then caught up a bit with Miss Marin. I was quite a social butterfly yesterday! Miss Logan had some excellent suggestions for sorority activities as well, but perhaps not the one involving going to a bar. Mr. Rogers was holding office hours and was called on by the younger Mr. Stark until a government agent stopped in to borrow Mr. Stark for some manner of project. That sounds...unusual. Lord Lannister was unable to find a date on a computer--perhaps if you tried a real person instead?--and was interviewed by Miss Lewis for the school paper. How exciting to see your name in print!
In the dormitories, the non-teaching Mr. Murdock was in the third floor common room, where he was watching ESPN because he was...I don't know that word.
*chittering*
WHY IS SEXILED A WORD? Hmph. Miss Lewis stopped in to remind Mr. Murdock that he gave her chlamydia...I don't know that word either.
*longer chittering*
MISTER MURDOCK, I AM APPALLED.
He also complained to Miss Donovan about being...kicked out of his room, which I am feeling less sympathetic about now...and Miss Lewis shared a Pop-Tart which I am now afraid to ask about with Miss Donovan.
And finally in town, Miss Millie was still looking for new employees at the the bookstore, while Miss Maclay was visited by Miss Gabrielle at the magic store, who told her she was learning how to heal. My sister Nan is looking into nursing classes herself! Speaking of nurses, the ones at the clinic were quite unkind and put biohazard stickers all over a sleeping Miss Scully as she tried to recover from a cold during her shift. The final round of auditions took place at the Boards yesterday, and an ill-prepared Mr. Hercules showed up to try out. Sov was paging through an atlas at Stark Industries, and over at Caritas, Miss [Kenzi's last name] was experimenting with drinks and--fire. Wait, fire? That seems like a terrible idea. Mr. Wayne was there--possibly with a fire extinguisher--before he offered to escort Miss Logan back to the dormitories in what I'm sure was a very gentlemanly gesture with nothing untoward happening at all after.
Right, Mr. Wayne? I have my suspicions.
And that's all the news today! Be very careful around Mr. Murdock, everyone.
