WTFH, Tuesday, January 17th
Tuesday, January 17th, 2012 11:10 amGooood morning, Fandom Island and varied podcast listeners! Ronan Nolan here with the news of yesterday! Not a whole lot today -- I guess we were all pretty boring yesterday. Do better next week, okay? I like having interesting things to talk about.
School!
Over at the school, Defending Yourself talked about fight or flight instincts before examining their own. In Food Tour of Fandom -- oh man, do I wish we'd had that class when I was a student -- the students learned about frozen desserts. Bond had a red tongue during his lecture, probably from the oddly-shaped ice lolly he was eating, and then the students got to try the foods themselves.
Basic Strategy today was all about appearance and how to dress to impress. Students got to look at clothing while Tyrion lectured before they had the chance to dress themselves and explain why they chose what they did. In Philosophy, Jaye playedmeta for The Truman Show -- a bit on the nose after this weekend, really -- and students watched it.
As one does, with a movie.
Finally, William had a no fuss day at the library, while in the office, the Head of Accounting was still singing drinking songs from last week. That explains a few things about the paperwork at this school, I'd say.
Dorms!
Raven is heading out for a while, it seems, given the amount of food and water she was packing. Over in his room, Butters listened to old podcasts before doing homework, while Stacy avoided homework in favour of fashion magazines.
... And that's it for dorms! The squirrels must be drinking more on the job.
Town!
Over in town, Vincent opened Cafe Luke's, Annie had an unpronounceable special at Goodvalor's, Ender was at Stark's where Ben brought lunch, and Jake had Caritas open last night. It looks like the bulk of the activity actually happened over at Trooper Station, where Anakin was surprised to see people actually in the cells.
... Since when do we jail people on this island?
Regardless, Rebecca and Rilla woke up in a cell together, while Kenzi informed Rebecca that they don't tend to do private accomodations.
Really, Kenzi? It's called solitary confinement.
Jaina stopped by to talk to Anakin, and found out that Luke once spent a weekend as a kidnapper, while Kenzi tried to convince Anakin to let her out without posting bail. Alternately, calling Bo to post bail for her.
And that's all the news I have for you today, everyone! Be more exciting next week.
