Fandom Radio :: Monday, July 25.
Monday, July 25th, 2011 03:04 pmDo-do-dooo! It's the big Texas Butters Show! And here he is, Biiiiiig Texas Butters!
Well, howdy, there, pardners, I'm Biiiiig Texas Butters! And these are my squirrels, Brevity and Shorty! ♪ Happy Traaaaails to you! ♪
There doesn't seem to be much of a radio this morning...these sure are some skimpy notes! I don't even think I'll need one of them LJ cut things or nothing today!
But I do think we'll need a nice little song!
That's right, Belinda Carlyle! But let's take a moment from bein' manic and listen to some news.
Since it's Sunday, not much happened at SCHOO, except the usual goth in the library.
No one was really doin' much around CAMP today, probably 'cause it's still a bit cold for everyone, but lots of people were busy in the cabins. But not Bod. He was in his room, and then his girlfriend came in and they had a great big old fight about him being friends with another girl and all. Hoooboy. That's gonna take some flowers and candy and sweet lovin' to smooth over, I'll bet.
Mercy got settled in her bunk with some books, but Luke took his time in movin' into his bunk. That didn't get him to escape getting into a fight with Percy, though, about who's the biggest little bitch to the gods.
...I think if you're fightin' about something like that, you're both probably little bitches. But at least Miley's nice and shares her magazines, but Luke lets her know she better stay quiet in the mornin'.
In TOWN, at Turtle & Canary, Dolf got his great big dog to fend off the panda, and at Atlas Gym, Tony had himself a spar with Mr. Rogers. I like Tony and all, but I'm pretty sure Mr. Rogers wins that one, you guys.
Most of the excitement happened at Caritas, where Mr. Priest's readin' was interrupted by a lot of teachers wanting to get drunk before the week started. And talk to each other a lot about borin' stuff, because that's just what grown-ups do. Captain Hook got wine, but didn't whine about himself to Mr. Priest. Miss Porter chatted with Captain Hook about the weather and all the places they've been, probably after getting brandy and talkin' about monkeys with Mr. Priest. Mr. Grayson got Mr. Priest all caught up on how his teaching was goin', and Mr. Gardener's just glad to be able to drink out of a bottle this time.
And, see, that's all we've got today, and so that means we've got to leave you earlier today, but don't worry! Next week is another Sunday, and another Big Texas Butters radio, so get on out there, little doggies, and do lots of stuff so we can spend more time together on Monday Morning.
