Good evening, Fandomites! It's Wexler Wednesday yet again here on WTFH Radio. I'm sadly without many notes or a super-awesome side-kick tonight, but hopefully, you'll still be as entertained as always. Things die down a bit during the break but, lordy, we all know the squirrels are going to explode next week with the explosion of new students filling in our no longer exploded new school.

First! The Market Report! Up again (hooray!) with the Dow Jones at a 1.90 increase and the NASDAQ pulling its weight at 2.50! Awesome!

And now? The news!

BOOM )

Seriously. That's all there is. I barely worked up a radio high from that. I'm shaking my head at you all, but, of course, you can't see it. Of course, by this time next week, I'll probably be checking myself into a clinic because no one will shut up, and then my head will explode. No one wants that. Jeff says I have a nice head.

Good night, Fandom! And have a prosperous day.

Sobriety totally optional!

Why yes, it is the time of year for radio tryouts again. Do you have a character with a unique point of view? An absolute love of coding? A masochistic yen to find out just how much work an average radio broadcast is? A need to mod squirrels?

...I don't actually want to know the answer to that last one.

If you are interested, sign up your character here in ye olde signing up broadcast thread. We'll do tryouts over the next few weeks beginning next Tuesday (September 4th) and the seven most popular broadcasters (or broadcasting teams, if you'd prefer to work in a pair) will be on the air confusing Fandom for the next semester, whee!

This is open to students, teachers, administrators, townies, talking turtles...anyone with a voice and a dream!

We are also looking for some researchers--with the cast list tipping into the 200s, our wee little linkers' fingers are getting tired.

So if you are awesome at cut & paste, are around regularly past 9 PM EST, and want to be involved without doing a broadcast, drop a line in ye olde researcher thread (old researchers, too, please).

Thanks!

Pam: Hey, everyone. It's Pam, like usual on Thursdays. Here's hoping I don't need a Sharpie tonight.

Jim: Hi! This is Jim and I've had so much coffee that I think I might never sleep again.

Pam: You didn't like your facial decorations last week?

Jim: Either that or I really like coffee. It could be either one. Guess which one it is.

Pam: How many guesses do I get?

Jim: Wrong answer. Let's get to the news.

Cut for too much coffee )

Jim: Good. The sooner we're done, the sooner I can beat your Tetris score.

Pam: You're vibrating too much to hit the buttons properly, anyway.

Jim: When I sit down with the game, a calm will come over me and the vibrating will be replaced by amazing Tetris-playing.

Pam: Except not. If you were going to beat it, you already would have.

Jim: I didn't have the power of caffeine with me before. Good night, Fandom, this argument is likely to continue. Tune in tomorrow to hear a report on how Pam cried like a baby at her shattered high score.

Pam: Or how Jim crashed and burned, faceplanted on his cell phone with a pitiful, pitiful score. Night!
