This is Jaye, bringing you one of the last broadcasts before the newbies wander in and track mud all over everything. Enjoy the quiet while it lasts.
EdumacationStill none! I just love saying that.
Living ConditionsSam woke
Jack from a dream about bunnies. Okay, I really kind of want a dream interpretaton book now.
John woke Aeryn up with the TV. No word on what she was dreaming about, but I bet big guns were involved.
John Connor took a bath rather than going to work, and okay, either there's a pervy squirrel who likes to watch him bathe or you do it enough that you are cooking yourself.
Annette named her new kitten Angel. You know, if the vampire brings Sean on back at homecoming and he chases Angel II, that's going to be really hard to report.
Zero and King Dork said goodbye before he leaves for a while. And oh, thank god, I get to finish out my time in Fandom without his stench. And
River was dressed up on the roof with music and food and dancing with Jack.
And today was
Marty's last day. Woe!
Kawalsky gave him a going-away present in the form of the bust of Jack Bristow. Ebay?
Marty and I talked about the valid uses of Super Soakers as weapons,
John Crichton and Marty say they'll see each other at homecoming or the wedding, whichever comes first, and
John Connor wanted to know where he's going.
And while Marty told
Blair he wouldn't miss the gremlins, he still
gave them his cricket bat and called a truce. I'm sure they won't have as much fun without him.
Phoebe and Marty talked about future plans, and I understand there was a goodbye
phone call. Marty told
Cally she is obligated to bring him a sandwich, and can I get one too? I'm hungry now. He and
Parker talked about the head of Bristow and majors, and word has it she said she'd miss him. That one's for you, Blank.
Bridge was thanked for the phone, and they talked about summer plans,
Bel apologized to him, Marty and
Aeryn reminisced about chicken invasions,
Zero replaced his gremlin-presented cricket bat with hs very own croquet mallet,
Rory was complimented on her graduation speech, and he and
Angela were sweet and ring-giving and aww before he made a
phone call and headed out.
I don't think I'm letting anyone else I like leave.
Out and AboutTurtle and Canary,
Sparky Repairs,
The Photo Hut and
the trooper station all did that thing where they were open, with
Al telling some dude named Roy about his call home. I just like being able to use the name Some Dude Named Roy.
Willow debated paperwork versus blowing things up with Some Dude Named Roy, and my take on it is that blowing things up usually leads to more paperwork.
Annette opened the post office, and I can't believe I made it this long without asking her if she's developed disgruntled rage and a love for firearms.
John Connor went looking for Giles at the Magic Box,
Stanley took Agatha to
Movies in the Park,
Bridge and Xander woke up to be gibberishy at each other, and I don't think the squirrels understood half the conversation here, but I think
Hamlet is now TAing for the Jerries. Good luck with that.
The clinic was quiet today, as was the
Devil's Nest, where Kabuto read a book, and NO. YOU CAN'T READ WHILE AT A CLUB. YOU JUST CAN'T. At
Caritas, Jarod- hi, Jarod- was sunburned but cute, I got to tell him my
plans, and
Emma seemed to be hinting towards wanting to work at Caritas. Yes, I'm sure working with teenagers would drive anyone to long hours at a bar.
And finally,
Marty planted a pine tree in the park before heading out of Fandom. Aw.
That's it for tonight. And I think this might be my last broadcast? If so, it's been pretty okay or whatever reporting all of you people being idiots for the last two years. If it's not, you can tease me about it when I'm back next week and I won't glare at you too hard. For the last time- either way- IT'S CHUNG CHUNG, DAMMIT.
