Happy Pi(e) Day, Fandom. I was going to find a way to spring load 3.14 pies onto 3.14 random doors in the dorms, but I kind of didn't really care that much and besides, my bed was more interesting. Not dirty.
Instead I am totally naked except for strategically-placed pie.
No, not really.
EdumacationForensics learned about
identifying remains by blowing up
Miley.
ET Civ watched a movie, so they lucked out.
Engineering went over electrical engineering, but
Bridge and Willow were busy passing notes. Tsk, tsk.
English Pony and
Tannim stayed after class, but I don't think it was to tell on Willow and Bridge.
Hunting learned about the undead, not that we have anything like that in Fandom. Or at least, not anymore. That I know of.
John Connor was more about the paper airplanes than the
work.
Spy Tech demonstrated something called the "Facemaker", which I'm afraid in Fandom might be literal. Anyway, they worked on
masks, and reported back on stuff from
last week.
US History talked about World War 2, and
Willow asked Professor Noblet about his dog's names. You know, I feel like I'm always missing something not being in that class. And
Creative Writing wrote poetry. Wanna hear mine?
*clears throat* Ahem.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I really suck at poetry.
The
office was open, and a bunch of people had office hours. Hey, that was very nearly a decent segue.
Professor Noblet,
Sakura,
Professor Roslin,
Deadpool and
Aly all did so,
Isabel opened the library, and
the cafeteria was quiet. I'm sure everyone's gastrointestinal systems are better off for it.
In club news, the
cheerleaders had practice, with
River and Rikku doing some dancy/fighty things, which whatever that means, it still puts Kung Fu Fighting in my head. There was
stretching and
tossing and that sounds dirty if your brain is in the right place for it.
Living ConditionsMac and Cally had some hair dyeing fun in the girls' bathroom, though I'm not sure why I said 'fun' since pouring chemicals on my head isn't my idea of a fun Saturday night.
Sak hung out on the roof,
Blair came back, and he and Jude talked about girls, which might have had something to do with
River telling him how she hooked up with Jack. Jack, oh my god, you have reached your S.O. limit. Because I totally have a say in that. Shh.
Cute Sam and Dawn talked about training with his daddy, and
Liz went to talk trauma with John Connor.
Layla celebrated National Pi(e) Day with pies in the fifth floor common room. For which
I consider her awesome.
Layla and Molly talked about getting the boys in cute athletic uniforms, but I fear it would mean seeing Peter Griffin in either short basketball shorts or tight football pants and I think I need to stop talking now.
Zero took an entire pie off Layla's hands, for she is kind like that, and while
Dick was confused about pie and pi,
Irulan totally got it.
You know what we were missing? Ice cream to go with it.
And... hm. Okay, that's all my dorms notes, but I'm not done talking, so. A new gremlin family moved in today. They're the Smiths and they moved here from a magical land called Wisconsin because the daddy gremlin got a new job. And this is totally ritzy for gremlinland. I mean, why do you think they all want to live here? So anyway, the parents have their own things going on and you know the mom is going to go off and have an affair with another gremlin's gremlin or something, but the real focus is on the kids, who are twins named, um, Bethie and Brody. He's all misunderstood and she's a bitch, and they have all these new gremlin friends now, because while we have like eighty million of them, they're friends with the popular gremlins now for some reason, and she's dating some James Dean type gremlin who doesn't really have any of his own- do gremlins have hair? Well, he's lost what the gremlin equivalent of hair is. Anyway, I'm bored of talking now and I don't know how Willow does it, so basically they're all trouble and yadda yadda what's in store for these two gremlin teens? Tune in next week, or whenever else I have a slow news day.
Shut up, I have not been watching Grosse Pointe reruns. Okay, maybe I have. I don't have a lot of hobbies, people.
Out and AboutAnnette started working at the post office, and Dick braved the insanity that tends to plague postal service workers to come visit her.
Lana opened the bookstore,
Lucy and Schrodinger not Shroeder, wtf, brain opened up the Devil's Nest,
John Connor got a pie and a kiss at church, and okay, I never thought I would say that sentence out loud, or even to myself really.
Teddy ate chocolate and did homework at work, and I bet you can guess which of those two activities I can approve of.
At
Turtle and Canary,
Wilson picked up gardening thingie for the
gardening thing later, and
Rikku got something for a BOOOOOOOOOOY. No, seriously, extra O's are all squirrelled in here. Pippi stopped by
Cafe Fina, and
Annette and Leo went looking for ghosts in the park, mistaking
Dick for one. ....For once I can't even try to make a joke about his name. You've stumped me this time, Casablancas!
Billy asked Chad where to find nature sounds at Empire Records. I say either open a window or release crickets into your room. Billy was also at the clinic during
Wilson's shift. No idea if it had anything to do with nature sounds. And at
Caritas, Jarod- Hi, Jarod!- surfed the net amid talking to
Annette about cats,
Chad about slow businesses, and
Barbossa about missing rum. I didn't take it, I swear.
And that's it for me tonight. I'll see you next week, when I've watched more than enough TV to pass the time.
[THAT is what writer's block does to me. *hides under bed*]
