Happy Friday Fandom. Yes, this is Veronica back on the mic. No, I'm still not one hundred percent sure how I got roped into this. But at least this Friday was better than last.

You Learn Something New Every Day

And apparently today the only things people are interested in learning about are prom and Angel's love life.

History of Art and Studio Art paint backdrops for the prom. And Xander comes to the conclusion that Angel has a crush on Professor Lyman. Huh. Yesterday it was Elizabeth. Did someone cast another love spell on Angel? And Math classes try to prove that math equals prom. *pause* I so don't want to know.

In the library, Angela and Janet discuss prom. They also discuss the mutual crush between Crichton and Professor Skeeter. Janet also discusses prom with Blair and Pip. She then talks to Elizabeth about Angel's crush. Finally, she proves my theory by talking to Parker about prom and Angel. And in non-prom or Angel news, Anakin drops off DVD players to Parker and they talk about Anakin's trip to Connecticut. Angela and Zero talk detention. I'll see you both there tomorrow. And Sam actually uses the library for work.

Oh, and apparently some classes actually did work today. Music wrote personal theme songs. Driver's Ed drove giant robots. US Government talks about what the founders would say about the current state of the US. I'm really hoping that didn't have anything to do with prom or Angel's love life. Celtic Studies looks at a poem. Not-Advanced Journalism works on their interview questions.

And finally, in Journalistic Integrity, Janet glitters a sleeping Professor Skeeter. Then Callisto throws water on her and earns detention.

You'll have good company, Callisto, since Dean Zordon announced that half the school apparently has detention tomorrow. Including me. At least it might be fun since we get to help decorate for prom, which Student Council finalized details for today.

In other non-prom or Angel news, the Cafeteria and the school clinic were empty.

In The Place Where We Live

There's a lot of talk about... you guessed it. Prom and Angel.

John and Aeryn talk about prom. According to my notes, Aeryn doesn't want to be a princess. Cameron, who had a weird dream last night apparently, talks to Molly about prom and hats. And Elizabeth and Parker flail about prom.

On the other subject du jour, Angel chats with Bel about the radio and, I'm guessing, his crush. Crushes. Who knows anymore? He also schemes with Molly. Which apparently involves them dressing like and pretending to be each other in the second floor common room. Okay, I'm officially starting to worry about Angel having a spell cast on him now. Oh, he also talks to Parker and wow did my brain just go to a bad place.

Moving right along.

Lots of people spend time alone today. And no matter what my notes say, I'm willing to bet most of them are thinking about either prom or Angel. In fact, I bet we can play the Chinese fortune cookie game here. Try adding "thinking about prom or Angel" to the end of these statements. Nadia sleeps late. Walter reflects. Ivanova gets a call from home. Nadia and Pippi stare at pudding. Peter is waiting for something weird to happen. Cameron takes a nap. Maia and Ivanova are emo and drink together. Piper reads a letter. Angela calls her mom and naps. And finally, Anakin plays with DVD players before heading out of town with Rory. See? It totally worked.

In the third floor common room there are lots of bowls of pudding and Walter, Nadia and Pippi are confused. Oh, and I got a package from Marty that has absolutely nothing to do with prom or Angel. Blank, you're a dead man.

You Really Can't Escape It

Even in town, people are prom obsessed.

At All and Sundries, Walter and Nadia make prom related purchases and Ivanova talks about prom and plants with Edmund. Even I was guilty of discussing it at Caritas with Weevil, who is totally adorable with my roommate, by the way. And that reminds me, fellow broadcasters, he is in no way, shape or form any kind of bug. Weevil is just a nickname. I could tell you his real name, but he'd probably get mad.

All the non-prom places are quiet today. Probably to the relief of Lucas at Empire Records, Lana at the bookstore, Ivanova at Wonka's and Alanna and Dr. Lambert at the clinic.

And that about does it for me tonight. Have a pleasant evening, Fandom. I'll see you all at the prom tomorrow!
