This be [livejournal.com profile] likeguidelines bringin' ye the latest 'n greatest on this Tuesday night at Fandom High.

Readin', Writin', Rithamatic
As ye all be terribly aware, today be the last day of classes due to a holiday celebratin' a bunch o' religious nuts wit' nothin' in a way of a sense of humor landin' up in Massachusetts and managin' not t'die. Don't believe me? Get into a conversation wit' a Puritan. It be more painful than Angel's rendition o' Mandy. Which we be gettin' to a bit later.

Professor Tick be gone today, so Lockheed be teachin' Criminal Justice about reform. Journalism class be writin' essays, and one o' the Speech classes be puttin' together a, well, speech, about how boys be stupid. Hey. I think I be not happy about that. The other one be talkin' about non-verbal communication. Wonder if they be sayin' "girls be havin' cooties" in interpretative dance or something.

Shop class be cookin' a turkey. Ye can be assured it weren't in the mild-mannered way the Home Ec class be takin' on the same project, or the equally non-eventful way they be eatin' Thanksgivin' food in Cookery class. None o' their attempts be nearly as cool as me rabble-rousin' crew o' hand-turkeys that I be makin' in Art Appreciation, either.

History classes be havin' some interestin' chats today. They be talkin' about ninjas, who be cool, but be in no way as cool as pirates, in East Asian history, and be discussin' whether the Greeks be gay or jes' real friendly in History o' the Ancient World. Maybe they should be talkin' to the Western Literature class. They be readin' the Illiad 'n the Odyssey.

Biology be learnin' about blood, Arthurian Traditions be writin' a play, and the Languages classes be speakin' French and Cat. No Dragon, though. Sorry, Lockheed.

Human Geography be discussin' tourism, and Doctor Grissom be holdin' an open Sociology lab 'n servin' pie he be makin' himself. If ye see a little pink bunny lookin' at ye, Doc, jes give him the pie, okay?

Doctor Jackson's classes still be cancelled but if ye be thinkin' that means ye don't need t'be turnin' in yer essays, ye be sadly mistaken.

The Doctor, Professor Quayle, Professor Eppes, and Dean Bristow be holdin' office hours. We also be gettin' a new, hopefully non-vampire-y, Psych teacher. She be holdin' office hours and not wantin' t'be called Professor. This might be hard fer me t'remember. Jonathan be not best pleased by the news of the new teacher.

In Study Hall, Crichton be slightly too excited t'see Bridge. Bridge be tellin' him o' his adventures wit' giraffes and be informin' him that the toaster be fixed. Heaven help us if thar be no toast available in the dorms. And Crichton be tryin' t' explain the "Angel be livin' in me room, but it be okay" thing t' Sam.

I be not sure how anyone can possibly be studyin' in the library, what wit' all the conversations that be happenin' thar today. The Doctor be comin' in t'invite the Librarian t'go away with him and their girlfriend t'California. They be bringin' Jack Harkness. Really. Then he be kissin' him. The librarian, not Jack. Although by the end of this vacation, I'd be not surprised at any kind of result we be hearin' about. I'll be over here, wit' the popcorn. The new Psych substitute be gettin' a library card. Crazy Squid Lady seems t'be gone fer good. One might be wonderin' what will happen t' the Crazy Squid. Crichton be talkin' to Janet about Angel. Parker, who be overhearin' it, be reactin'. Not so politely. I know this be shockin' t' all of ye. Parker also be learnin' how ye can disinvite a vampire. I might be chattin' wit' ye, Parker. Me house be a mite drafty at the moment, and I can only wear so many crosses at a time.

The clinic be almost as busy, with Angela 'n Cameron be vistin' Rory, who be settin' a new school record fer most people seein' her in her pajamas. Dirty! But not really. Sam be stoppin' in with food, the Doctor 'n Doctor Wilson be hungover, and Doctors Wilson 'n House be kind of romantic. *shuffles papers* So I be told, anyway. Thar be entirely too many doctors around here if ye ask me. Which, I realize, no one has.

Roomin'
Maia 'n Paige be chattin' before classes, Aeryn 'n Crichton be fightin', Anakin be writin' a letter home before visitin' Rory 'n Logan in the clinic, and Callynanders be doin' somethin' naughty in the shower. We be hearin'. We be havin' no tape, so don't be callin' us askin' fer any.

Shep 'n O'Neill both be back 'n feelin' better, too. We've been missin' ye, guys. Anders 'n Kara be workin' out in the gym again because they be not aware that exercise'll kill ye. Everything'll kill ye. I prefer t'be goin' out with a flask in one hand and an apple in the other, personally.

Revelin'
The Flight Club be watchin' Pearl Harbor 'n crashin' a simulated version o' Han's ship.

Ben be goin' t'see Mayor Red about gettin' his name changed. Ben's name. Not Red's. Jes' makin' that clear. Hey, Diddle, 'n Diddle be sad 'n homesick by the rain, but Professor Cregg be bringin' em ice cream t'make it all better. Be it rum raisin ice cream?

Tex be checkin' on her order with Michael, Han be talkin' with Lana at the Perk about the whole "cuttin' Shep open wit' a sword" thing, and Maia be stoppin' by t'say hello t'Allison.

Darla be in Wolfram 'n Hart, Professor Vandecamp be talkin' gardenin' wit' Professor Quayle, and Deb be explainin' Thanksgivin' t' Alanna.

Inara, Cally 'n Tonks all be stoppin' to chat with Aziraphale in the park. And in his shop, Aayla be askin' Kiki how Aziraphale be doin', and Darla 'n Crowley be havin' tea. I be sure that not be endin' in blood, tears and whatever the plural o' apocalypse be.

Inara be makin' small talk with Jarod, 'n Gob be comin' into the Fourth Sin t' "make small talk" if ye know what I be meanin' and I think ye do. Aayla be stopppin' in at Spike's t'talk with Chewbacca.

And everyone else on the island be crammed into Caritas tonight. Veronica, Veronica 'n Lorne, Cam 'n Vala, Professor Cregg, Lockheed (who we be assured be very tuneful if ye speak Dragon), Jack Harkness, Professor Chaucer, Jaye, Piper, Angela, 'n John Connor all be hittin' the stage durin' the night. But we all be thar fer Angel, of course, who be gracin' us with the most monotone version o' Mandy the world has ever known. People also be talkin', as ye do. Veronica be askin' Lorne fer a job, Anakin 'n Mystique be talkin' about Angel, Cam 'n Vala sing fer free drinks, a whole mess o' professors be hangin' out at the bar, Aeryn be gettin' a gift from Callisto, Angel be gettin' no manner of sympathy from anyone, and if Belthazor 'n Darla be thinkin' that no one saw them plottin' together, they be sadly mistaken.

Angel be meetin' up with all manner o' people 'n creatures on his way home from Caritas, too. Most be none too pleased t'see him.

That be all from the Crow's Nest. Keep an eye out fer the Rover, and have a good night!

Hi, it's Jaye, bringing you a quick rundown of the angst, the cute, and the general goings on of Fandom before I get dragged home for the holiday. If anyone is willing to share their anti-anxiety meds, please call me. Please.

Edumacation

Ha! No classes! No clubs! Even the library's closed!

How do you measure a year? Might want to ask Dean Bristow next time he holds office hours.

Jonathan's also holding office hours in the clinic, and Crichton goes to visit Rory before she's sprung like a sprung thing. I didn't mean that as dirty as it sounded.

Living Situations

You're all being boring! Or maybe absent. I bet no one's even hearing this right now. I can't snark without ammunition!

Edward and Lily watch bad action movies, Sakura knits, Alanna's pacing and Sam invites the Professor MacGuyver guy to Thanksgiving dinner. People, where are your raging keggers?

Grissom helps Cally build.... something on the roof, and the girl knows to make the gremlins work for her instead of against her. Except her sugar cookie bribe leads to gremlin suicide. Or was he thrown? *presses button for ominous Halloween music*

Hickory, Dickory and Dock whose names I can never keep straight are dissatisfied and leaving town. I'm sure they'll be back.

Cam angsts, then gets some. Lee and John angst before Lee leaves. Maybe that's why they're angsting. Angel has more reason than most of you to angst, and he does it well. Years of practice, I bet.

Marty and Angela? Not angsting! I knew there was a reason I liked you two. And the non-angsting Lisa goes to see the downright chipper Professor Sidle, who kind of scares me like this please don't fail me in bio.

Callisto and Anders meet in the gym and there's no subtext happening. He then goes back to be cute with Cally. Because that's what they do. Be cute.

Out and About

And guess who is out and about? Rory and Logan! Good to hear it, guys. Parker takes a wheelchair bound Rory outside, where there's something with phone calls and Parker getting stressed. Huh. The pirate may be everywhere, but sometimes he don't hear too good.

Tell me I'm not the only one creeped out by the way Crowley and Jonathan talk. There's just something squicky and bad going on there. Also in on the creep factor, the people visiting Wolfram and Hart are really displeased at this whole Angel thing.

Lana and Maia really love that beach. And before Allison and Aaron talk, Wilson checks up on Tex in the park. Then Tex suffers a gremlin bite and gets all creepy and happy-like. Maybe that's what happened to Sidle.

Geoff stops in at the Emporium to talk to Michael, and Paige gets her Thanksgiving freakout out of the way early. For those of you who are planning on having your panic tomorrow like the Puritans intended, the Emporium will be closed tomorrow and through the weekend. Just take your last-minute "OMG I NEED A TURKEY NOW!" spazzes to the NPC grocery store and have one less thing to tear your hair out over.

Maia invites Tonks to Thanksgiving dinner, and Jarod buys Pez. Look, it's a slow news day, all right?

At Caritas, Parker questions Lorne on that bartender guy. She continues her meltdown when she heads to The Fourth Sin to confront him. I notice that it seems like every time I'm at the mic, Miho talks. Maybe planets align on my days or something. I dunno.

And as I speak, I'm getting reports that Bel's currently wandering around and talking to Crowley and Aziraphale.

Han, Bagoas and Chewbacca head out of town, as do I! Ugh. If you love me, you'll kill me. I don't really mean that. Jaye is a non-killing zone, people. Happy Thanksgiving, or whatever.
