Fandom Radio, June 17

Brooke: Hello there! This is Brooke...

*silence*

Brooke: I said, this is Brooke, and...

Jaina: We are not that cutesy.

Brooke: I will keep it up till you do it. Cooperate. This is Brooke...

Jaina: *sigh* And this is Jaina. Let's start off-

Brooke: Have you never heard of a good intro?

Jaina: You don't get an intro when I know you're going to keep me here way past the time I want to be here just talking.

Brooke: Good point.

School!

Jaina: Let's see if we can blow through this, all right? Healthy Diet and Living learned about meditation, complete with coffee to make sure everyone stayed awake. I have to say I'm not really sure hyping people up on caffeine and telling them to relax is the easiest thing for anyone. Filling them up with food might've helped though. In a complete 180 from that, The Buddy Movie class learned about endurance with a ropes course, complete with a linear trail, a skyscraper tower, steel poles and cages.

Brooke: Loki may be a bastard.

Jaina: I'm not entirely disagreeing with you on that, if I look from a civilian's perspective. He got food from Amber and Daisy brought him food anyway. Criminal Justice dealt with the results of last week's interrogations, and argued over whodunnit before Professor Gibbs revealed the killer.

Brooke: Who was it?

Jaina: Doesn't say. Ask your friends. The Art of Seduction- wow, does this feel like something for Brooke to be talking about instead- had a gremlin-bitten Professor Bond, who thought he was a lord and wanted the students to dress, make an entrance-

Brooke: *cough*

Jaina: What?

Brooke: Nothing.

Jaina: Anyway... They also had to talk and try to seduce like him. And Jack and Emma wondered if there were ways to help the professor. I think I've known men like him.

Brooke: Are they single?

Jaina: ...Let's not go there. Seven Secrets to Success learned about diligence by cleaning soap dispensers. Ew.

Brooke: If they're cleaning soap dispensers I don't know that I'd call them successful. Is there a reason you're hiding the notes from me? Are you afraid I'll talk more?

Jaina: Got it in one. Sam opened the library and Dean was glad to see he brought pie. And then Peter and Sam talked about ways to hide Peter in Fandom at the end of summer. If you figure anything out, let me know. I'm just saying. -Hey!

Brooke: My turn! Principal Winchester was cranky in her office about all the property destruction, and both Rose and Worf had to come in and answer for it. Ooooh, someone's in troublllllle...

Dorms!

Jaina: Give me those.

Brooke: I didn't even talk! Gimme! Claire went for a jog and Leto found Arthur packing for a trip, and they ... there are a lot of subjects covered here so let's just say they talked. Chuck was all hungover till Rachel cured that right up for him, and wow is she a handy person to know.

Jaina: It's just dissipating the toxins from the bloodstream.

Brooke: I've heard too many stories about you to listen to you say that. Hannibal got a call that cheered him up, and then he and Angela made up, so I'm sure that helped, Alex Karev got tired of hanging out so he left, and George and Jennifer decided they were bored with their reading and decided on a movie. I like their thinking.

The reserve thing played a game of British Bulldog, and I have no idea what the hell that is but it sounds like a drinking game. Maybe something with cards. Karla and Agnes stocked up on some of the coffee and donuts provided, Leda teased Eleanor about being in heat as a cat, which is not something I thought I'd ever be saying, under any circumstances, ever, and Karla thanked Arthur for addressing her properly on radio as Lady Karla. I'm not doing that, so you know. Leto and Dinahcame to check things out and Morgana was there to watch the game. Leda thought Karla was complimenting her just to get her donut, and the squirrels are hoping that's dirty and truth be told, I am too.

Jaina: There is something wrong with you.

Brooke: Only in the good ways. Karla demonstrated offense as a defense to Tony, Merlin told Eleanor how the game should help with seeing how people's magics worked together, Jack O'Neill wanted to know if Merlin was that Merlin, while Karla just checked his face.

Jaina:I feel like I should get explanation there, but I'm just moving on. The renovation project had John working hard with the supervisors watching, and my lunch-making skills apparently weren't needed today. I'm almost disappointed. And down in the salle, Zayne was working on lightsaber practice but was distracted by Dinah cheering him on. The focus stuff gets easier.

Town!

Brooke: Tim Desmond contemplated drinks while working on lesson plans, Glinda was packed and waiting for Veronica to show, some flower deliveries made their way around and I didn't get a single one, what's up with that? Leda asked Joan for some flowers for her hair, too, and Ino and Katina were still complaining about the wet T-shirt contest- I mean, last week's fire drill at Strokes of Genius, Shilo was tidying up at the York Gallery, and Tyler watched wrestling videos at Atlas Gym. I think you're working out wrong.

Jaina: My turn again.

Brooke: Am I not going fast enough for you?

Jaina: Not in the slightest. Johnny was polishing the silverware at Luke's-

Brooke: I'm going to pretend that was dirty so it's more interesting.

Jaina: Shh. The big kids are talking. Ino was manning Wellspring Arms when Sarah brought Veronica by to shoot. Jack Burton paid Naomi a visit at Stark Industries, Valentine apparently passed a grammar test at the Arms... Congratulations, roomie? Amber was in a coffee-induced cleaning mode at Turtle and Canary, and Daisy and Tony DiNozzo had a not-date wherein there was talk of the lack of cases in Fandom. Yeah, we have an amazing little amount of crime here. I think crime rates go down when every single little thing gets reported on radio and makes it hard to get away with anything.

Liir was at Cafe Fina physically, but mentally not at all, which had Amber wondering what was wrong, and Glinda came by talking about home. At the park, Professor Minsc and Boo were... enjoying time with the ducks, let's say that. Jack Sparrow assured him he's on the right side of the law, and Glinda was not so happy about her trip home. Trips end. Look forward to that part. Claire had Tully drawn in for the comics at Android's Dungeon, and Jon O'Neill told Claire why he doesn't like zombies. The answer should be, 'because they eat your brains.'

Brooke: Unless they're the Caritas zombies. All they want to do is make you listen to music and realy bad singing. Tony DiNozzo was encouraged to work by a free lunch, Alex Cabot was doing work-related Internet surfing, which is no fun at all. You don't have to go for the porn or anything, just start with some Hulu. Alice was contemplating music mixes, and Murdock was working at the lighthouse. How long have they been working on that thing? And finally, at Caritas, Penelope was working her way through the booze, which had Hurley worried. Maybe with good reason.

Jaina: Does that mean we're done?

Brooke: Was that fast enough for you?

Jaina: No. Bye.

Brooke: At least this week we got some kind of exit line from her... Night, Fandom!

Karla burst out laughing. That was what they'd gotten from her conversation with Arthur?
