Sam: Good evening to anyone who's actually in town tonight and not still away for the break.
Dean: If you're not here, then you're probably not listening and so we're not saying good evening to you.
Sam: Especially since, if you're not here, you're probably off doing something fun.
Dean: Fun is what you make it Sammy. I'm sure you can come up with something fun to do here.
Sam: I've been having plenty of fun over the break, honestly.
Dean: Happy to hear that. Really.
Sam: *grumbles* Someday, I'm going to learn how to lie to you and make you believe it, I swear.
Dean: No, you won't. But feel free to keep trying. It's always fun to watch.
Sam: Jerk. Since I haven't had much fun, I guess I'll have to live vicariously through what everyone else did today.
Dean: And if that's not my cue, then I don't know what is.
Dorms, or what few parts of them are occupied
Dean: There were a lot of people coming back today in the dorms. Hoshi got back and unpacked. Beauty welcomed AJ back and was shocked at his hair. Which is green. Yeah, that would do it.
Annette and John Sheppard both got back to Fandom and crashed. Not together.
Sam: Which is good, because I wouldn't want to see Dick and John fight. I bet Dick would go straight for the hair.
Dean: Well, who wouldn't? I mean look at it... And it's not even green. John and Jaina were reunited and there were presents and kissing. Luke showed Jaina his Christmas presents which were pictures of his mom. Aw.
Sam: Aww, that's sweet, and that seems like a familiar present concept.
Dean: I bet his pictures aren't in calendar form.
Sam: Maybe not. But then, he doesn't have a brother to do that sort of thing for him.
Dean: Yeah, I'm really awesome that way. In the third floor common room, Luke tried to watch tv with Artoo, who was far more interested in changing the channels on him. Robin tried to mediate between them but didn't have any success.
Chad and Luke met each other's pets. Okay, I know Chad's got the cat, is Artoo considered a pet?
Sam: Maybe? But I certainly wouldn't say that in front of him, just in case.
Dean: Especially if he's got the remote. Sokka told Chad about how awesome his break was and Rikku shared her break related glee with Luke.
Sokka tried to reason with Artoo. This did not go well. Z teased Luke about oppressing Artoo. Hey, you mess with somebody's tv watching, that's oppressing right there.
Sam: So, what, I've been oppressing you every time I've tried to change the channel on you to something decent?
Dean: Until I grab the remote back from you, yeah.
Sam: I need to just start holding the remote high enough that you can't reach it.
Dean: You forget something, Sammy. I fight dirty.
Sam: I hope everyone heard that really clearly. This is why I'm the good brother and you're not.
Dean: You're good and I'm awesome. I can live with that.
Sam: You're impossible, that's what you are.
Town: slightly less deserted than it was yesterday
Sam: Over in town, Ino stopped by Arashi's place to ask for relationship advice, and ended up figuring out that she's dating Kabuto. Apparently, this is a bad thing, from how Arashi got angry.
An exhausted Kerrigan intimidated the employees at the Perk. They don't need to be intimidated to be convinced to hand over coffee, really. River tried to figure out what was wrong, and was rewarded with a TA position in Kerrigan's class. Go River! And Aly checked to make sure that Kerrigan was doing all right.
Mary manned the hotel, and George Michael opened the banana stand, as usual.
Turtle gave Turtle & Canary a hug when she got there, and Jeff came by to exchange late Christmas presents with her, which earned them an awwwwwww of approval from the squirrels. The notes don't mention whether or not he gave the store a hug too though.
Dean: How does one hug a building anyway?
Sam: I don't know, I've never had the urge to try. Maybe that's information that only comes along with an obsession with consumerism.
Dean: I guess. I've got better things to be obsessed with myself.
Sam: There are so many inappropriate responses I could make to that that I don't even know where to start. Wonders of the World is hiring, if anyone is looking for a job in town. Later, Joanna got dressed up and went bowling at Fast Eddie's.
And Dr. Wilson was manning the clinic tonight. Lana came by to visit him, and bring him some brownies.
Dean: Somebody should drop by the radio station and give us brownies.
Sam: I agree. I could go for something sweet right about now.
Dean: What do you say to a junk food binge when we get done here?
Sam: I like the sound of that a lot. I don't think the squirrels have anything else for us.
Dean: Great. Let's go see if we can eat ourselves into sugar comas.
