Loki: There are to be new people today! Are you not excited?
Alex: Little worried relatives are gonna show up, actually. I think ‘that might be bad’ might be the one thing we can agree on...but there’ll be free food!
Loki: Free food indeed.
Alex: I’m a growing boy. I hope.
Loki: At least I know I will be much taller than this! Alright then! It appears we have no notes for the school, which does not come as a surprise for anyone here. And also nothing in the dorms. Well, that is a bit odd...
Alex: Maybe the squirrels were too drunk to hand in their notes? Or...busy getting ready for today? Or the first thing.
Loki: It is possible! In town, we have Ace and Topher blowing things up before they are dragged away by Derek. Perhaps it was unsafe and he was merely there to protect them. Or they were blowing up his things. Angela and Savannah discussed her moving out and how not all things need be packed. Though I suggest packing a tooth brush. Very useful. And also, Jamie Madrox left through the causeway.
Alex: At the Perk, Evan, who I guess didn't get the memo that school hasn't started yet, was reading about Egyptian history when Victor stopped by to talk to him about new kid smell and baseball. And then Loki stopped by and NO EVAN DON'T TRUST HIM.
Loki: Silence, you!
Alex: They need to know! GOD OF LIES, new kids! At Turtle & Canary, Hope wasn't really doing anything--this is news?--and at Theodoric of York Zayne and Hanna both got haircuts. No, seriously, this is news? And--okay, THIS is news: it was Shirtless Friday at The Devil's Nest, where Jaina stopped by to tell Eric she'll be around this semester and can't turn into a kitten on command. Because...he really needed to know that. Except then I think he gave her a job so maybe that's a requirement?
Loki: I do not think shapeshifting should be necessary for a job. It's quite difficult!
Alex: Yeah, and I don’t see how turning into a kitten would be very useful. Especially in a bar...
Loki: Unless it means something else. In which case... I do not think we should be discussing it on the radio.
Alex: What would--you have a filthy mind. No one needs to hear about that! Ew!
Loki: It is not my fault the internet is full of such things!
Alex: Maybe stay off those sites? Or...don’t mention them in public, did no one ever tell you this? Because my dad did and hello you know who my dad is.
Loki: No, the All-father does not have such chats with me. Nor has mine brother. Oh--please let him never. I do not think I would survive the second hand embarrassment
