Before anyone says anything, I should tell you I hear there's a monster on the roof. Go check it out.
Other than that, you just have me tonight. I hope no one is too terribly disappointed. If you are? Go find that monster.
It's Just Class
Mystical Artifacts discovered fire today. On behalf of everyone, welcome to civilisation. They talk about what fire means to them. Personally, I think food's much better when cooked. And there is discussion of a powerful fire artifact. Like matches? There's discussion of another kind as Chris asks Wyatt what Anders means to him. Apparently Anders has been informed that Chris' ass is off limits. I know I speak for us all when saying, that was too much information.
Anatomy learns about the reproductive system, but Aeryn has translation issues. Marty does too because he's wondering what a 'vajango' is. Film and Lit discuss 'chick flicks.' Sociology of Space Travel watches Baron of the BeatlesLord of the Flies and compares it to Strifenova Celestial. Girl-Sam is more interesting in gossiping to D about Jack's illness.
Sam - along with Krycek - is also focused on the question of false gods in T'GAY. And then the class discusses the burning question of if Ares is a god. Seriously? That's in question? He's a god. Alanna, for her part, wants to know what Sam has against godhood. It's a good question. Annnd, Guitar class works on their playing. Shocked, that's what I am.
Only Daisy has office hours today, but the office is open, and my favourite TA whose still here opens the library.
Then the Newspaper club meets, get their assignments, and chit chat.
The Dorms. Home of Angst, Emo, and Cuddling
Teddy spent his morning in the gym, getting ready to spar, being encouraged by Setsuna and then sparring with Pippi. He rounds off his athletic experience by flirting with Chad. Chad, on the other hand, just waves and wants Teddy to be shirtless more often. Setsuna and John - Connor, I think - get a work out both from the swords and in the avoiding of Teddy and Pippi.
In the salle, Henry's teaching himself sword forms from a book. ...there isn't anyone in this whole school who can teach you, Henry? Surely that's not true. Luke comes by to practise and surprises Henry. And his book.
John Connor's frying dough in the 4th Floor Common Room. Which leads to Nadia showing up and wielding sugar and cinnamon shakers like maracas. Annette wants a funnel cake and gets dubbed Chief Executive Assistant's Assistant. Wow, show up for fried dough and end up working. Nadia's a harsh mistress.
Which Teddy apparently agrees with because he comes in for a funnel cake and immediately leaves again. He's chased down by John bearing a doughnut and Cassie. Awkward conversation ensues. Cassie is also initiated into the mystical knowledge of elephant ears.
Okay, these notes are out of order because this one's telling me that Pippi and Teddy decided to spar today. Which you already know.
In the daily cute couple rundown, and now more than ever do I miss Faithful because this tortures him so much. Dick and Annette wake up together adorably and Annette ends up with a hickey. ...Better than the result of other activities resulting from a morning wake up. Cally and Mac are sweet and chatty, and Luke brings Rory some soup.
Henry had a bad morning, but Ami was thrilled by waking up in her own bed. Nope, not touching that one. Jaye sent email, Annette got a phone call, and John Connor took a bath. One of those things didnt have to do with communication. I'm betting it's the email.
Parker tried to console Anders with cupcakes and an open ear and then told Zero about her upcoming trip to Europe. Summer and Chris decide that Cally needs to hold her tongue, and Annette tells Cally she has syphillis. Maybe Cally should have held...nevermind. Ah, yes, something more normal. Aeryn also checked in on the sick Rory.
Annette plays music on the roof and is flirted with by Dick. I approve. Cally appears and provides Annette with alcohol in celebration of her very first hickey. Cally also discourages any honourable intentions Dick has towards Annette then offers to leave them the room. Irulan joins the party late because she's a bit confused by the drunk and giggly Annette who greets her.
Takin' the Train Downtown
Just about the whole town was out in the park today, taking the lead from Dr. Wilson and enjoying the sunshine. Henry stopped by to do some gardening and dug up Matilda who was apparently taking a nap underground. Dr. Wilson offered to help with the gardening and discussed ducks with Kabuto.
Lana received a visitor in the form of Aziraphale while she was working at the bookstore today. Chad and Dawn visited Katara at the post office and discussed penguins and boys respectively. Ami joined the working world in her first day at the Magic Box and received Setsuna and Annette as rewards.
Turtle and Canary is open, and the church is celebrating Ishtar's feast. Both Caritas and the Devil's Nest are slow tonight leaving Phoebe and Neil to simply clean and brood. Everyone must be drinking on the roof while fighting that monster.
One of our newest Fandom residents, Stanley made a phone call. And Xander received two visitors. One in the form of Willow with whom he watched a movie. And then Bridge interrupted him building bookshelves. Apologies ensued.
Ellen works crossword puzzles in the Perk in the morning while Anakin holds court in the evening and is visited by Rose, Dr. Wilson, and Greg.
Speaking of holding court, Faithful accepts the television's homage at the clinic this morning, and Doogie reads in the evening.
That's about all I have for you tonight. Tune in next week for the real star of the show, the talking cat. Night!

He paused for a moment and wondered if there really was a monster up there, even though he'd just made it up.
