Fandom Radio: October 9th 2011

Jack: Good Morning Fandom! I'm Jack Carter.

Columbus: And I'm Columbus Ohio for your morning news.

Jack: You might be asking where Jamie Madrox is. Well the explanation is simple.

Columbus: We locked him out of the studio.

Jack: It just seemed easier that way.

Jamie: But it didn't really work.

Jack: Crap.

Columbus: How did you get in here?

Jamie: Created a dupe on the other side of the door and had him unlock it. I had to spend ten minutes debating with him about the meaning of life but he eventually came around.

Jack: See, it's moments like this I really wish I could smack you.

Jamie: That would just make more of me.

Jack: You see my dilemma.

Columbus: Would now be a good time to remind you all if we don't start reading the news the squirrels will start throwing acorns?

Jack: Fine. Let's get this over with.

School!

Jack: Kicking off yesterday was Bod opening the library and being lazy about returning the books to the proper place. Way to embrace the work ethic, Bod.

Dorms!

Columbus: The over at the Gym, Bruce was cheerfully beating the crap out of a punching bag when Cara stopped by and talked with Bruce about farm animals.

Jack: I'm missing something there.

Jamie: Definitely a disconnect.

Columbus: How about we live in Fandom?

Jack: Okay, well now it makes sense.

Jamie: Yep. Totally got it.

Town

Jamie: Then in town, Topher was over in Stark Industries making a better rat trap. While sitting on his desk.

Jack: As you do.

Jamie: Over at the Devil's Nest Bo was doing personal research while on the job. However The Boss was too busy texting something about a flying car, so I'm guessing he didn't care.

Jack: And just to add from personal experience... Flying car? Not as fun as you think it might be.

Columbus: Maybe it's because you're afraid of heights.

Jack: That's probably it.

Jamie: And over at the Princess Convention, all the royalty had a lovely Breakfast followed by various presentations.

The first presentation was by someone called Amelia about the Mighty Fist of Justice and Pacifism which apparently involved shouting and mangling dummies.

Then there was the second session entitled "What Happens When You Let Sibling Rivalry and Professional Jealousy Turn You Into a Megalomaniac" which was led by a horse named Luna.

Columbus: That's... a very specific topic.

Jack: And makes me wonder if we actually want Megalomaniacs on the island.

Jamie: Aww. Megalomanics can make things fun!

Jack: Yes. But you're insane.

Jamie: *sighs* I miss Doom. And finally the last topic was held by Crystalia Amaquelin about "Coping With Your Stuckup Relatives Through Interpersonal Relations."

Columbus: Which would have probably been helpful for everyone last weekend.

Jack: Yeah, but what are you going to do?

Jamie: Build a time machine and go back in time.

Jack: Can I go back in time just far enough to keep you from being in the news room?

Jamie: See... That's just mean.

Columbus: And yet a completely desireable outcome.

Jamie: Fine. I'll leave. But you'll rue the day you ever crossed me.

Jack: I rue the day I met you.

Columbus: And that's it for us here in the Studio. Everyone have a nice day!
