Fandom Radio, December 20
Evening, Fandom! If you're there. It's been pretty quiet today, hasn't it? But oooh, pretty -- look at the lights!
But yes. Quiet, because a lot of you are going home for the holidays. Like Percy who was in his room packing, Peter who was also packing not to mention getting a visit from Helen to thank him for rescuing her from the labyrinth, and Ariel, who was singing while waiting out on the beach for her trip home, and talking to Bod, who was also reported to be fiddling with a postcard in his room. Robin the frog was talking to Ariel, took, and is apparently going to Key West for Christmas. Sookie was in her room sending out email, which got an enthusiastic in-person response from Rinoa, Karla, and Raven.
Bobby Drake was in the third floor common room watching a movie about Santa overthrowing a planet --

What do you mean, it's not a planet any more?

. . . really? Well, that's just mean. Poor old Pluto. Alexander, who's taking advantage of the break even though he doesn't have Christmas back home, thought it was an interesting movie, and heard from Bobby about why he's not going home. Looks like he's going to spend it with Sookie, who made plans with Bobby to head out early and get her place ready for all their guests.
Ino was at the clinic practicing some sort of tricky diagnostic technique until Reno came by to check up on her. Fixer-Uppers was busy today, like it usually is on Mondays when Ender's working, with a droid-repair and check-up visit from Karla, Ben with lunch as usual, and a followup visit from Karla at lunch to talk to both of them. Over at Dite's Decadent Delights, Karla was trying to put together a nativity scene . . . oh, gosh . . . and talked to Cloud about Christmas, Winsol, and how they're similar. And possibly different. Mayor Summers was at Town Hall talking to Vice-Principal Deadpool in what the squirrels call a very domestic way, discussing whether to get Jan a Christmas tree.
It was pretty quiet everywhere else: at the diner, where at least I had my Yule Log app to watch, the Magic Box, where Alex Russo was decorating, Turtle and Canary, where Zatanna was having trouble getting Apu into the Christmas spirit, the Arms, where Quinn was napping on the job, and Fourth Dimension, even if Medusalith isn't so sure about this whole Christmas thing.
And finally, over at Caritas, Jake got to watch zombies sing Christmas carols by pretty pretty multicolored twinkling lights.
. . . I like these lights. I'm just going to sit here and stare at them for a wh--
