Fandom Radio, Sunday, May 16th 2010

Dan: You look...rumpled.

Chuck: Yeah.

Dan: Do I want to know what you were doing?

Chuck: Probably not.

Dan: I figured. Once again, Fandom, this is Dan Humphrey and Chuck Bass, bringing you all the news the squirrels deemed fit to report.

Chuck: Which is just about everything, no matter how boring it is.

Dan: True.

School

Chuck: Jono was hiding behind some Popular Mechanics books during his library shift. Henry, naturally, questioned him about it.

Dorms

Dan: Ino heard that Zack got Kennedy to help with Reserves instead of her and for some reason this caused her to flip out and complain at him. Oh...kay then. Bobby got a bad phone call from home---sorry about that, man---and he has to leave for a while. Sookie comes by to get caught up on what's wrong. Hinata was folding laundry when Hayley came by, saying she didn't want to graduate.

Chuck: Join the club.

Dan: I didn't realize you enjoyed your academic career so much.

Chuck: I'm not. I just liked it when Sam did work for me.

Dan: Ah. Elena was sending e-mails when Jacob stopped by to tell her that he met Rosalind. And then Ino came in to ask her help in doing something fun. Hoshi was sending e-mails too and got a call from Joan.

Town

Chuck: Tahiri was on the beach meditating and got into a conversation with Ender. Karla was at the Arms in her uncle Saetan's room. Turns out he wants to meet her friends. Hey, I met that guy. I liked him.

Dan: You would like someone named that.

Chuck: I'll have you know I haven't liked all the satan's I've met. Some are dicks. Well dressed dicks. Jamie came in to meet Saetan and ended up getting freaked out a bit. Scully quizzed him on whether he's been to Fandom before and about Jewels, whatever those are. Jack Priest got congratulated on graduating and he asked about the convention in town. Raven got asked about her trip to Karla's world and Cassidy stopped in as well. And Dimitri was watching a bobcat stalk a cricket. Cats eat crickets? Gross.

Dan: Cats eat all sorts of weird things. You gotta watch 'em close.

Chuck: When have you had a cat?

Dan: I had one for a while--Iggy. He lives in Florida with my grandma now. Jenny was allergic.

Chuck: So I guess she's not going to be visiting me at my place once I get my kitten. Got it.

Dan: I don't want Jenny hanging around you too much anyway, stepbrother or not. No offense. Bod was brooding in the graveyard. Because that's a totally normal thing to do. Mina says that graveyards are peaceful and Bod respectfully disagreed. Mitchell and Bod had a deep conversation about life and death and the afterlife, and Oz asked Bod if he was visiting anyone. Kate was having a picnic by herself until Robin spotted her. Price was holding another FIRE meeting in the park, this one with a potluck theme. Price asked Tully how the lighthouse business was going and told Ashley about the people who want him dead.

Chuck: That's always a cheerful conversation. Blysse had to deal with scary Furby's at the Gig and Francine called to check up on her. Jono was brooding on the Causeway. Popular thing to do today, it seems. Raziel took his bad mood out on Jono, while Didi was a little more polite. And Raven told Jono about the people she knows who were at the convention this weekend. Oh, by the way, Raven? You fail at minding your own business. Just saying.

Dan: Are you really complaining about that? Aren't you the one followed by Gossip Girl constantly?

Chuck: That's different. Somehow. Castiel was at the church, monitoring the kittens. I should probably spend more time with those things. Gabriel came by for another chat about the apocalypse, I bet that was fun, and Josh came by to check out the church.

Dan: Tino was less than impressed with Clark's ability to be on time to work at Caritas. Don't worry, Clark, I'm sure other people are super impressed. Clark was glad that Cara hadn't gotten scared away yet, and Bruce talked to Clark about how finding sparring partners was harder now that Fight Club has been put on hold for the summer. Chuck here was moping in the lounge but Dean came by to make sure he didn't spend his birthday alone. Awwwwww.

Chuck: I think I can speak for both Dean and myself when I say we don't like to be aww'd at.

Dan: Sorry.

Chuck: Mmm hmm. Today was the last day for God Con. Breakfast was served and naturally everyone flocked to free food. Karla was keeping an eye on Sebastian in an annoying way. Trigon was projecting himself to the place and talked to Raven about how he was going to destroy this world. Heeeeey, can you not do that? I live here. Thanks. Saetan gave a lecture on the many faces of hell. Oh I know all about that. Zeus talked to Saetan about what his hell is like and Karla fretted over him a bit since he looked worn down. Saetan also talked about life after death, which Scully had some questions over.

Dan: I'd be worried if you didn't have questions about it.

Chuck: Seriously. I've noticed that people who have those answers are vague about it though. Frustrating.

Dan: Hey, um...I know you're probably going to make fun of me for this, but I know it's your birthday so I got you this...

Chuck: It looks like a Twinkie with a candle in it.

Dan: Yeah...it was a spur of the moment thing. I know we haven't always gotten along but you're a good radio partner and, let's face it, you treat me a hundred times better than the Chuck I have at home.

Chuck: I--um...thank you, Dan.

Dan: You're welcome. Anyways, Fandom, that's it for news tonight and I'm gonna sign us off so Chuck can make his birthday Twinkie wish without having the whole town hear.

Chuck: You are so lame sometimes, I swear.

Dan: Don't make me take away the Twinkie. Goodnight, Fandom!
