Fandom Radio, Sunday, February 7th, 2010

Dan: Hello, Fandom, and welcome to WTFH Fandom radio. You're joining us on a scarily normal Sunday evening.

Chuck: Well it is Superbowl Sunday. Even Fandom weird stops for football.

Dan: True. You win any money?

Chuck: Humphrey, you know gambling is illegal. But yes. I did.

Dan: Of course you did. The irony of you siding with the Saints isn't lost on me.

School

Chuck: Jono was in the library and took advantage of the quiet by resting. And Henry was in his office, working.

Dorms

Dan: Arthur called a meeting of the Reserve leaders on the sixth floor in order to coordinate efforts the next time an invasion happens. Leto asked Zack what was so important about cookies. I would think that's fairly obvious but okay. Leto and Morgana apologize to each other for not showing up to each other's respective Reserve meetings. Well I don't show up to any of them so don't feel too bad. Zack suggested that Support could handle notifying the other two groups, since apparently communication was a weak spot, and Francine agrees to this. Karla noted that most of the leaders were seniors, and that they should consider leaders of the Reserves for after they leave.

Chuck: Wow, this all seems extremely boring.

Dan: I'm sure it was thrilling...if you were into that sort of thing.

Chuck: No, it's boring no matter what.

Dan: *sigh* Dinah practiced water-bending at the pool and talked to Jak about Azula. Menolly was letting fire lizards play out in the snow and Hurley finds them adorable, apparently. I have no idea what they are. Dinah stopped by to check them out too. Karla was thinking about cooking but got distracted by conversations with Hayley and Tony.

Chuck: In what could possibly be more interesting, but I doubt it, news there was cheerleading tryouts today. During warm ups, Didi told Elena that she was going to wear black and K-Mart told Chloe not to be nervous. The cheerleader hopefuls, being Chloe, Didi, Jean and Harper, tried out in front of an audience and the current squad members. What did I tell you? Not thrilling at all.

Dan: You are so hard to entertain.

Chuck: Oh I am not. I watch Jersey Shore just like everybody else.

Dan: Okay, you got me there. Bod was restless in his room and got a visit from Rose, who was looking for Jacob. Kate also visited Bod and they talked about how nobody really knows them. I'm sure that was a very deep conversation. I'm not being at all sarcastic.

Chuck: If I had said it, I would have been sarcastic.

Dan: Yes. That. There's a difference. Later on, Jacob got visits in the same room from Didi and Rose. Fiona was playing with her cat in her room and Raven got a visity from Andy.

Town

Chuck: Jack O'Neill had an Super Bowl party like so many people who have no class tend to do today. Paige brought Derek along and he tells her he used to play. Paige asks Jack if there's commercials and didn't realize that the Saints and New Orleans were the same team. Wow. I hope you're from another planet. Jack and Derek didn't expect to see each other so soon and Fred explained to Jack why gizzards were a good part of a chicken. That's disgusting. And Paige was glad Summer brought cookies. I can't continue on with this boring crap anymore.

Dan: Fine, I'll read more. Lulu opened up the apparently new and improved Cafe Fina today. Ino was surprised not to see Zack there and talked to Lulu about the changes that had been made. Paige and Derek both talked to Lulu before having a date with each other. And Biff came by to flirt.

Chuck: Fight Club met because it was Sunday and of course people couldn't just fight and be done with it because that would just not be enough news. Ben and Blysse checked in with each other. About what, I don't know. Rose told Dimitri she straightened everything out with Jacob, and she told both Elena and Jaina about the fight she got into at Caritas. I guess you mean right outside Caritas since you can't get in a fight in Caritas.

Dan: You can't?

Chuck: Nope. My bar is fight free. Fight Club is not fight free, naturally, and this week it was Claire vs. Jack Burton, Jono vs. Dru, Lulu vs. Hoshi, Tyler vs. Rose, Steve vs. Arthur and Blysse vs. Jen Walters. And Billy came in to visit Ghanima.

Dan: Over at Theodoric's Joan, Jen, Kate, Ellie, Hoshi and Raven had a girls day. Kate told Jen she failed at being a girl because she was worried about her nails and she talked to Joan about the Puppy Bowl. Jen suggested Ellie do everything at once, while Joan helped her decide on just one thing. Hoshi and Raven were trying to choose between facials or pedicures and it seemed everybody was having trouble deciding because it came to a vote.

Chuck: My god, I'm so bored I can't even make a joke about facials right now. Seriously. I knew I should have gotten tickets to the Super Bowl. I could be in Miami right now, licking things off a Kardashian.

Dan: ...Ew. Continuing on with the spa thing, Raven didn't understand why people paid for these things and all four other girls said something along the lines that it was better and more relaxing when a professional does things to you. Chuck, don't say anything.

Chuck: You just don't want me to have any entertainment during this broadcast, do you?

Dan: No, I don't. Moving on, Blysse was at the Gig and Mulan was at Covent Garden Flowers but no one came by. Ashley visited Biff at the Wellspring Arms, however. Jack had his first day at Cabot and Associates and Alex came by to see how he was doing. There was no football over at Caritas, but Mirax was there to talk to Clark about the Puppy Bowl. And we're done. You can go off to do something more thrilling now.

Chuck: Oh, thanks for giving me your permission.

Dan: I didn't--whatever. You're welcome. Goodnight, Fandom.
