Fandom High Radio, Friday, January 29th

Arthur: Good evening, Fandom, and my deepest apologies to the squirrels and you all. I was delayed--

Jak: Nobody cares.

Arthur: I happen to. So please forgive me. We'll move on now to the notes...

*rustling*

Oh, look. You've got a review.

Jak: ... A what?

Arthur: 'The new guy is okay, but his voice is a little slow--'

Jak: Hey! Give me that.

*more rustling*

Arthur: While my co-host is distracted... Time for the news.

The Law and Order the Interdimensional Edition class discussed how to capture a fugitive. This can be very tricky - sometimnes you'll have to ransack the entire castle, and you'll generally be dealing with runners. Such as Dinah and Beka demonstrated. And the rest of the class attempted as well. I have to say, modern restraints seem to be quite useful. You'll want something like those cuffs to ensure you restrain your captive as fast as you possibly can. Dinah was there as a teaching assistant, Sirs Kyle and Max represented the teachers. Moving on...

Jak: --I'm not that grumpy! --

Arthur: I said, moving on. Battles That Changed History also met, and we had the privilege of watching a movie about the Battle of Teutoburg Forest. Fascinating material, for a movie. Kurt hid in the back - you've been spotted, Kurt - and complained to Proto. Mat and I were present, as was Professor Steve.

Jak: -- I didn't think my hair had anything to do with radio.

Arthur: The trick lies in knowing how to present yourself. You seem to have applied yourself to 'angry vagrant'. Anyway. Business 102 had a bit about networking and free stuff, then chatted each other up. Bobby's there if a penguin - sorry about that - as is Jim. There. He's not a penguin, to my knowledge. The penguin spoke to the camera alongside Angela. Study Hall held a documentary movie... thing, and featured Spock and Joan doing work, and Jaina questioning Professor Ronon. Dan opened the library, and Professor Tyler had office--

Jak: This isn't even my alphabet! Where's Daxter when you need him?

Arthur: Kindly stop non-sequituring in my radio broadcast.

Jak: Sorry to step on some toes.

Arthur: You should be. Lady Zoe held a staff meeting in the teacher's lounge. Many were present. Lady Zoe spoke about the gremlin invasion. There were other topics of discussion, including a phone tree - please speak to any of the reserve leaders for a full list of reserve phone numbers if you need it, milady - and the brand of pie that was to be used. Lady Zoe was present afterwards. Think you can handle the next batch?

DORMS

Jak: Yeah, I think I can manage. Jack Burton's got his little sib turned cat. Morgana's--

Arthur: Lady Morgana's.

Jak: Whatever. Support services showed up. They mingled and hung out talking about the gremlins. Claire figured they should split up and set up two first aid stations next time. Francine and Lady Whatever were there to be talked to, which Jacob did about my cohost and the fact he doesn't know when to sit down and not pass out from blood loss.

Arthur: MORGANA! Don't you have something better to gossip about? Your shoes, perhaps? If--

Jak: Yeah. Before he works himself up into something, rest of the dorm notes. Bod's going through his stuff. Sam calls someone. Mirax takes pictures and picks up a voicemail. Done. Stew all you want.

TOWNIES

Arthur: I'm perfectly composed, and I don't need your permission. Aphrodite prepares a meal for some of her acquaintances, such as Karla, with whom she discusses redecorating, and Dinah, who speaks about the same. Dinah and Karla also speak of other matters.

Jak: At Pixie Dust, Jenny gets a bunch of new clothes. Fun. Hurley messes around with the flower shop notes. John Price runs a price check or something on the goods at Wellspring. Ashley shows up to bug.

Arthur: Again, Jak, this is radio. You've got to do something about that terse thing you're doing.

Jak: Yeah, I read the review.

Arthur: Take note, then. Like this: Arya's long search for stray gremlins at Coyote Medicine brought her nothing in the end. Mary politely refused Gunther's business advances at the hotel, and Lily nimbly tried to dodge cleaning Strokes of Genius. Don't bother, I'm sure Katchoo will make a mess of things as soon as your back is turned.

Jak: Harper got Mirax a raise. Raven and Andy had a date. Mina played games.

Arthur: Now you're just trying to spite me.

Jak: Yeah.

Arthur: Nice try, but it isn't working. Better luck next time. In our final news of the eve, Chuck actually attempted work at Caritas. Now that is, as they say, breaking news.

The weather's looking cold, the streets are looking empty, and this was Arthur Pendragon... ...

...

...

*door slams*

...This was Arthur Pendragon and an empty chair for WTFH news. Have a good tomorrow.
