Fandom Radio, Friday, December 25th
I can't believe they actually e-mailed me the notes. I guess it shouldn't surprise me that squirrels who can take detailed notes can use e-mail, but... Oh, wait, I'm on?
Happy Holidays, Fandom. This is Jim Halpert, reporting from my parents' house in scenic Scranton, P-A. We apparently have the technology to connect me to you through the use of something called a 'telephone,' so I can't get out of this like I did the day after Thanksgiving.
I have to get back to my nephew destroying me in Mario Kart, so let's get right to it.
School
Nothing! Not only did the semester end last week, but it's also a holiday. But get ready for new classes to start in a couple weeks because that is right around the corner.
Dorms
Angela and food were both in the fourth floor common room for anyone who was around. As it turns out, there were a few of you. Ender came for the food, but stayed for the company. Hurley came to show off his fashion sense and stayed to talk to Ender about portals. He and Angela also talked about being warm. And then Angela tried to convince Mirax that silly hats were customary before giving Hannibal the gift of being in an adorable couple together.
And this evening in the second floor common room, Fiona had a book and some company. Effy talked to her about booze, while Griff talked to her about some unpleasant topics. And then Griff and Effy just got snark at each other, which is the best way to be during the holidays.
No, I'm not being sarcastic. I highly endorse it.
And finally, Jon packed for a trip while Claire gave him a call.
Town
Lightning round style since my nephew is threatening to start the next race without me.
Who held Christmas Day service at the church? Castiel. What language was Mass in? Aramaic. Who didn't understand him? Arthur and Francine and probably anyone else who might have been hiding in the back pews.
What was Karla doing in the park? Ice skating. What had swarmed the pond? Geese. We can only hope Karla survived the experience because geese are kind of nasty.
What kind of music was playing at Caritas? Christmas music. And who was dancing to it? Damon.
And that's all for the town lightning round-up as well as tonight's holiday radio. Good night, Fandom.
