Fandom High Radio, Thursday, December 17th
Good evening. This is Arthur Pendragon for WTFH news, accompanied by the Fandom news squirrels, and if you don't believe they exist by now then the entire semester has been a lost cause for you. Moving on, I'd like to get started on the news of the day, if you'd all be so kind as to sit down for it.
In the morning, Claire visits Sam in the library to consider the short span of time before his graduation. A graduation which will hopefully bring us all a safe return to our homes.
Master Anakin begins the Ethics final exam. It consisted of several questions - what they'd do if their mother was kidnapped and thought dead. ... What they would do if their partner was pregnant and predicted to die in childbirth. ... ... What they'd do while trying to extract information from a rebel. Finally, what to do when your child doesn't wish to follow the path you have set for him, and disagrees with your opinions and the way you've applied them in life.
Elena tells Master Anakin she feels she has failed, but he reminds her that honesty is the answer. Then Raven and Tara speak of gossip. We had a... car chase in Driver's Ed with cabs and Ziva. In Swordplay class, Vice Principal Deadpool had us fight to finish out the semester. There were a few fights, including the one I had with Triela. The TAs were present, as was Vice Principal Deadpool. An altogether simpler test than Ethics.
There is a five-question exam in Logic class as well, including a TA by name of Claire and Lady Elizabeth herself. Oceanography had their final as well, including a lecture and a discussion of what the students liked. And a teacher. Again, not quite the Ethics final.
Professor Steve worked the papers in his office, and Professor Max, who got into a bit of a fight, has a visit from Karla.
DORMS
On the first floor, Sam Winchester has the traditional coffee cart for the finals season. Dinah is by to get some cocoa and more talk of how strange graduation will be. On the third floor, Kate has made some muffins. Hannibal wants to know whether the wedding-cake... whatever means anything. Jaime, meanwhile, has decided that the world will most likely end after finals. Now that'll be something. They take it as an excuse to pig out. Then Bobby visits to terrorize the room at large, or so the squirrels tell me. He and Jaime call each other 'muffins'. Do not worry. I am not here to judge anyone else's personal life. Or, er, predilections. Jack's happy about the muffins in general and about staying in Fandom, which he shares with Kate.
And then Jaime begins whining to Kate about the finals ahead. I would suggest more muffins. They seem to be your... *pregnant pause* thing.
Karla has a number of people over in her room. Seems to be some kind of party or something. Ino has a date in Jaime and promptly flatters his plant, but again, your personal lives are none of my concern. I just hope you remembered to bring muffins. While Jaime's out, though, the mice come out - or rather Didi and Jono, who decorate Didi's room in the name of Christmas.
Momoko hasn't suffered enough Feliz Navidad yet, and so tunes back in to the right radio station for it. On the fourth floor, Sookie is up watching Christmas movies or something, and shows Bobby her magic. She also decides that peppermint is the word of the day, although holiday traditions with Ben aren't far off. Bobby throws popcorn at him. Better than muffins, I suppose.
TOWNIES
At the Magic Box, Tara finds the time to be thoughtful until Kennedy shows up. At the Diner, the cook and the dishwasher worry about Priestly. I'd ask why, but I think I can figure it out. Kate stops by for a chat. Castiel discusses the pagan traditions that apparently snuck into the celebration of the birth of Christ around here. We listened, and Price spoke to him. Vida gets the glitter all over her shop while she entertains Sir Vimes in there. Or would that be Sir Sam? Merlin, Lady Ghanima and myself were out in the preserve for a... project. And Ino and Jaime go on their date at Taste of Thai, a place devoid of plants and muffins.
At Caritas, Marshall spices up his hot chocolate, and Rose and Elena drink in the lounge. Maron, Katchoo and Jack O'Neill all have fairly uneventful days at work, as does Jennifer, except that she broke her own chair. Hope you got that patched up. Captain Algren and Simon the Physician also, thankfully, have nothing to report.
And that's all for the news tonight. Hope you Ethics students took to the hot chocolate in the lobby this morning.
