Hi. My name is Jim Halpert and I'm addicted to Facebook. So if I take a break to answer some Social Interview questions, well, you've been warned.
Have I ever had a heart-to-heart conversation with SCHOOL NEWS? No, but I'd like to someday.
My extremely interesting class talked about former cheerleaders who became President. There's a lot of them. And then I made everyone pair up and make Presidential cheers.
Engineering Math did meteorology and Studio Art had free painting.
Win Friends influenced people with poetry. It didn't influence any squirrels, though. That's because Barney went with haiku instead of limericks. The squirrels are just shaking their heads.
Jono was in the library, slacking off by reading a book. Not just that, but it was a book for class. That's the worst bit of slacking off I've heard in a while. Bobby stopped in to play Farmville on one of the library's network, showing Jono how this slacking off thing should be done. Sookie stopped by for romance novels - not bad for slacking - and also got some non-verbal communication with Jono and a sales pitch from Bobby about the joys of Farmville. If I can chime in? There's nothing more satisfying than selling those red orbs for a nice 65 coins each. And Didi came in to tell Jono all about the wackiness with Raven last weekend.
And most of that helped Jono not actually do his job or read, so well done everyone else.
And on the club side of things, the paper met. The staff chatted and got their assignments, and apparently didn't decide to just move to full time blogging.
Oh, here's a question. What would Tyler Durden say if I hugged him right now? He'd probably say "What are you doing in my bed? You're not the person who got me flowers that made me so happy during my office hours."
What is THE DORM's idea of a great movie? Probably something that brings a lot of people to the common room.
The frat met and failed to recognize that "gremlin" isn't a Greek letter. But they did realize that Twister is a game that men can play with other men without things being really weird, so good for them. The boys mingled, giving Mat a reason to find out from Arthur why Illyria in in the frat. Speaking of Illyria, as soon as the game came out, she and Chuck Bartowski gave it a shot. And, of course, Hannibal and Arthur were around for anything official at the end of the meeting.
Up on the fourth floor tonight, Hayley was making sugar cookies, a mess, and friends, because Robin the Frog came in to help.
Ooh, here's another question. How much money would it take for you to reveal your deepest secrets? No money. But I would demand robotic laser eyes. Strangely enough, a want of laser eyes is one of my deepest secrets. That's just between me and you, okay listeners?
And another one! Do you think Raven would enjoy living as you for a day? I think she'd enjoy listening to her music more, just like she was doing today.
On the other hand, since she had to have awkward conversations about last weekend with Didi and Leto, today might have been a good day to live as someone else. Fortunately, Leda only stopped by to appreciate the music.
What do I wish for this Christmas? TOWN NEWS!
Let's hammer out a few more of these questions. If Ray over at the Trooper Station were a drink, he would be banana flavored, because he was complaining about bananas and ironic drinks are the best.
If Jan at Wellspring Arms were a space pilot, I would not trust her to take me to the moon. For one, she's just too young to pilot spacecraft. For two, she's wearing a banana peel skirt, and I expect astronauts to pay more attention to protocol than that.
A random fact about Lily is that she opens Strokes of Genius on Fridays. It didn't say it had to be an unknown fact, just a random fact.
If I had to kiss Arya of Coyote Medicine, it would be in private, after she was done filling out order forms.
If Aphrodite of the Decadent Delights store named her next child after me, I'd be flattered. But I probably wouldn't hear about it by phone. Dite was having some issues with hers today.
If new guy Damon, who met some people around town today, were a flower, he would be a daffodil because I know nothing about flowers so why not?. Biff gave him the local rundown, Mina gave him what had to be a slightly more serious account of Fandom, Sookie apparently underguessed his age, and Oz's busking didn't get him anywhere with Damon.
What does Kate never leave home without? Apparently not hot chocolate, since that's what she was drinking at the Perk, wheere she got to tell Jonas about her time as a cat.
If Morgana asked me to just out of a plane, I wouldn't do it. I would, however, listen to advice she gave as part of the support services meeting. And that's not just because they had food or the possibility of handouts. Well, actually, the food would be the main reason I'd do it. I'm a simple man like that. Morgana and Francine were both around after the meeting to talk to people.
Ooh, here's another good one. If I were a genie and could give three wishes to any friends, who would I pick? First, I'd pick Chuck Bass. I'd give him a beer tap in his office at Caritas so he didn't need to do his paperwork out in the open just to spend more time with the booze. Then I'd go with Damon and give him a job, but Chuck already took care of that. So let's give the second one to Jaina, and have Chuck stop hitting on her. And finally, one for Summer, who just wanted a drink. That's an easy enough genie wish to grant.
Okay, a couple more questions for me. How much would I pay to meet the love of my life tonight? That... depends. If it turns out that she's engaged to somebody, I think I'd pay a little less.
What am I currently obsessed with? Social Interviews on Facebook.
And if I could have any two friends as parents, who would they be and why? Biff and Barney. Is there any other option? I don't think there is.
