Jaina: Okay, I'm still catching up on radio broadcasts, but it seems like I took a week off and the island had to have a crisis. Stop that.
Brooke: ....Or you could just say hello.
Jaina: I like my way better.
Brooke: I swear by the time we finish our time on radio, I will have taught you how to make a proper introduction.
Jaina: I know how, I just don't want to.
Brooke: You do it because you hate me.
Jaina: You figured me out.
School!
Jaina: You're making me do the school bit, huh?
Brooke: Yep!
Jaina: Survival class learned about silent communication, and practiced with military signals. And even though they were in a classroom, they still dressed out I'm beginning to think Professor Dex has uniform trauma. Afterwards, Turtle got to silently communicate that she missed last week due to being a turtle. Quirks class talked about alcohol, and we got to discuss our experiences with it-
Brooke: Got any stories you want to rehash?
Jaina: Want to see if I can explode your head from here? After class, Fiona wanted to talk about anger, Helen explained that she'd been sick last week, and Daisy was of course there with food. Criminal Justice practiced Shooting at the range, and Practical Weaponry learned about using clothing as a weapon. Which meant the guys had to wear dresses.
Brooke: I so wish I was still a student to be in there.
Jaina: Like you'd take that class.
Brooke: I can use clothing as a weapon! Never underestimate the power of a push-up bra. ...You should look into one.
Jaina: *sigh* Forensics had a movie day, and Savannah thanked the professor for her help. Sam was in the library today, where Claire and Peyton came to check up, and Peter skipped the checking and went straight to cheering. Professor Durden got a visit from Zack to talk about the other Fandom, Professor Deadpool came to bug Principal Washburn about new students, Professor... Constable... I'm just going to cheat and call her Daisy, had cookies in her office hours, and Merlin stopped in to ask Professor Atreides advice.
Brooke: I heard no gossip in any of that.
Jaina: I thought that was why you liked doing the dorms section anyway.
Brooke: You're so right.
Dorms!
Brooke: So! Ender has graduated to opening his door, Jaina got flowers for Valentine's Day.... It's August.
Jaina: Yeah.
Brooke: Early August. Maron settled in the read, Sookie tried to kill herself cleaning, Jack Priest went to bother Alex Karev to avoid laundry, and ended up talking over the weird of the last week. No one seems to be happy talking about it. That's where I'd be changing the subject.
Elle Woods hung out on the deck, though Turtle wasn't so sure about Elle's wearing a bikini and cardigan. Oh, god, if this is anything like the bradigan of Robin's, I need to have a talk with this girl. Elle figures out she needs to get Chloe in on the gossiping and actually doing things, and the Robin who eschews bradigans- and hallelujah- asked how Elle was liking the place so far.
Bobby took over the third floor common room with DVD's and food, so naturally everyone went. Harper and Bobby talked about the show, and she and Jennifer talked about competitions over which floor is best. I like second. Because I was on it. That made it more awesome right there. Bobby and Jennifer talked about time travel weirdness-
Jaina: Yeah, that happens.
Brooke: Valentine was happy there ws takeout, since she can't cook either, and Jennifer filled Val in on how Bobby is winning the Awesome Boy Olympics. That can't be a real event, they would have asked me to judge. Valentine tried to come up with ways CHinese food is bad for Harper, Bobby helped Jean get her food together, and Peyton was drawn in by the food. Bobby and Harper both invited Rachel in, and she met Jennifer, who then met Gabrielle. She and Bobby think spreading the marathon over two days is a good idea, and she gushed about the show with Harper. You know I'm hearing absolutely no gossip?
Jaina: I'm sure everyone will try harder next week, just for you.
Town!
Brooke: You take this part. You're magic, or something, right?
Jaina: ...Not exactly, no. But whatever. Magic Reserves talked about foreboding and dreams and how to prepare for next time, complete with tea. Dinah added pastries to the mix, and she and Eleanor talked about the other universe. Rachel talked about a spell Tara had been casting, though Tara was shy, and Dinah told Rachel she's still having dreams about the other place. Dinah also checked up on Merlin, who didn't want to talk about it.
Jaina: Naomi set up shop at Stark Industries, and Joan got a visit at the flower shop from Liir to plan their date. There's your gossip, Brooke. Eliza also decided to sell the shop after finally getting her E. Katina was grumpy at Strokes of Genius, but let Liir deliver her lunch. Shilo was having a sguar coma at the York Gallery and- ....Wow, Liir is intent on making me talk about him all night. Gwynn was giving the Gig's horses special attention and then there was a Liir, and Helen needed- and I quote- "horsey soothing" because she didn't like what Edward said about her. Dinah went for a run on the beach, which turned into a race with Blysse and Blind Seer. That could have actually been fun to see. The talk with Francine about that alternate universe seemed less cheery. And at Cafe Fina, Liir was cooking like a madman. Yeah. I guessed.
At the trooper station, Tony DiNozzo had a... porny phone call.
Brooke: HA.
Jaina: This also earned him a headsmack from Gibbs. Tony and Dani Reese argued over who's the bigger problem, a question which remains unanswered. Aphrodite was bored and plotting at the sex shop, at least till Jennifer came in looking for fabric that will expand.
Brooke: WOW.
Jaina: What?
Brooke: That just sounds all kinds of naughty.
Jaina: Moving on. Castiel arrived in the graveyard, and Morgan told him about everything that happened last week, while Rachel got a little bit of info on who Castiel is. He also found Dinah lighting candles and Mina talked with him about morality,so uh... interesting night there in the graveyard.
Brooke: My turn! Jack Burton opened the Imperial Brim, Claire put up a help wanted sign at Android's Dungeon, Valentine was using her laptop at work, adult!Rachel had a to-do list, which she discussed with Robin, and she insulted Worf's forehead. Layla paid Alice a visit at Grooy Tunes, and Dani did the same for Alex Cabot at the law office.
Penelope opened Caritas, and was unhappy with Hurley for pairing up in class with someone who once made fun of her nose, Veronica talked about the other Fandom with Penelope and Deadpool, and her Vegas plans with Vince. She and Dani also decided the only dull moment in Fandom is at the police station. That's actually pretty good. Minsc wanted moderately strong ale, and Griff and Fiona went on a date, because for some unknown reason Griff hates himself.
Brooke: Seriously. Gossip. I'm feeling out of the loop here, you know.
Jaina: And of course it's all about you.
Brooke: And it only took you this long to figure it out. Okay, hanging up now. Night, Fandom!
