Fandom High Radio, Tuesday, August 4th

Good evening, Fandom. I hope you're all sleeping restfully, rather than what happened last week. But that's no reason to dwell, as events continue on as they do, and the squirrels report on them as they do.

Hold on, it's another Fandom Radio news broadcast.

Anemone cleans up after the researchers in the library. Good work, all of you, it's appreciated. Dinah came by to let her know about her other self's fate, very nice, Dinah, I'm sure people need to be told about that kind of thing.

Professor Lily has Debt class about... things... that make us happy. And puppies. Right. Well, she's there if any of you girls need any puppies. In Myth Class, Tyler speaks about those myths related to cars. Are there any dragons in them? I'd like to know. They listen to the lecture, then fool around with the cars. Sam teaches Chuck how to drive. I'm sure he was grateful. Turtle manages to get out of doing any extra work in light of her abscence last week by talking. Now that's just lazy.

Tony Stark arrives to speak to Professor Tyler, but he is promptly shown the door after a scrap of conversation about his wellbeing. TA Anemone appears to have had a less than traumatic week, despite Dinah's attempts to worsen it.

Film Through The Ages brings us sound. Now if that isn't impressive. Jack Priest and Emma seem to choose to spite the matter at hand, so they offer each other glances rather than talking. Chloe and Robin attempt to make up for it, as does the film and both the TA and the teacher. Creative Writing meets but is disrupted by rhyme, as is Professor Rick when Valentine appears to tell him she's been a cat.

Master Anakin leads Flight and Flying into an easy class on the subject of landing planes that are on fire. They can then practice or crash. I know which one I'd opt for. Claire and Peter also discuss the week that we probably really shouldn't discuss except with those who were there, as Jess TAs and Master Anakin watches on. Finally, in Photography, students go through the whole 'developing pictures that take too long' thing again, except this time they discuss anxiety first. Charming.

In office hours, only Lady Glinda persists, allowing her new hamster to bond with Boo. A joyous occasion, no doubt.

DORMS

Griff wakes up from a bad dream - welcome back, Griff - as does Ned - welcome back, Ned - and Priestly just returns in general while... Merlin comes in to take a look at my bruises. Leda chooses not to join the waking just yet, while Jack Priest fumes in his room. Then Rose comes by to talk to him about that and everything that occurred over the weekend. Griff settles in to sleep again. You'd think he'd be over that by now.

Kate left muffins in every common room. That's very kind of you, Kate. Zack and I had a spar in the salle, which worked all right, and Shilo put up signs for a 'candy party'. Girl thing. Leto led the reserves in an exercise on team-building today. The reservists mingled, most notably with Karla and Dinah glomping each other, Turtle and Triela being somewhat concerned about the exercise - for once, we agree - and Dinah and Griff exchanging pleasantries. All right.

On to the exercise. The fruit was to be divided equally, and it had to come with a story. Dinah and Triela shared talk of the weekend and dreams and so on. Turtle shared that she owns a gun now, and Elena questioned her on how it made her feel. Like she could kill things, I imagine. Griff told us he's protective of his drawings before engaging in a staring contest with Fiona. The reservists fed each other--

No, squirrel, no. Keep your filthy mind out of the gutter.

Lord Leto offers Turtle a knife to cut her apple with, and trades fruits with Elena. Triela is difficult about the assignment, and of course, Leto chooses to mind her. Karla and Triela share some grapes, while Fiona and Leto share food and other issues. Zack wants to share berries, and Elena happily takes him up on his offer to speak about fruit. Might as well. Leto and Karla have another one of those lovely conversations on days that are Tuesday where I can hear all about them, and Zack is, of course, happy about the assignment. As were the rest of us. Zack glomps Leto, possibly doing himself further damage, Karla sees about whether it's all right to participate, Fiona asks Leto if she should stay during the assignment, the answer would be yes, Fiona, because the rest of us also have to suffer through it be there. And finally, Dinah and I discussed all that's gone on.

On the third floor, Chuck takes advantage of both muffins and television. Hannibal is there, of course, to discuss his girlfriend, who has become a red panda, and thoroughly convince Chuck that he should not be left near animals of any kind. When Claire asks, however, Chuck has become the animal. I didn't realise there was a weasel in that common room as well. Claire and Chuck discuss.

Later that night, Shilo had her party, where the people mingled, to my complete lack of surprise. Leda asked Turtle what she'd brought to the party, informed whether she'd met Jen before - always heartening to hear it when the memory's working - and meets Annja. Emma wishes to know whether Professor Castle is insane or a genius, to which Valentine no doubt obliges with an answer. Annja meets Jennifer, and That Frog squees about how good of an idea all of this was. Amazing. Joan is pleased that Penelope looks happier, Ellie and Jennifer discussed research last week, and That Frog gives Ellie a cup. Right. Better have been something good in it. Joan and Ellie agree that candy heals all wounds, except for those that hunting does, and Penelope talks to Ellie about what they did last week.

Not sleep, I hope.

Joan and Leda discuss all the sleeping, common topic, Alex-the-girl and Joan discuss how pleased they are that the week is done with, and Elle is both pleased with the party and pleased with Alex's reaction to her dog. However, the pink she wore upset Leda's eyes. I can't blame you. There was candy and movies and Shilo being congratulated on the party. Right.

On the fifth floor, Bobby watches Go-Between Guy. Hurley comes to inquire about who he is, Mirax is happy that Bobby has chosen to entertain her, and Hurley says hello.

TOWNIES

Geoffrey heads out for the causeway today, much to later trouble. Later on, Steve is doing push-ups when Tony Stark comes by, and it all devolves into some kind of argument about owning a Teevee. Layla prepares to 'go back to school', and here I thought she knew stuff. Loki opened MHA, where Joan came by to complain about feeling useless, and Daisy being appreciative that Loki didn't kill any plants.

Rachel opened 'Dite's disturbing store, where Griff acquired a night light, and Sam came looking for some 'help'.

*chittering*

Be quiet. Hinata opened Book Haven, where Hurley came by with some cinnamon rolls. Sir Dale rhymed along with the phone until he got a job offer - interesting strategy - and then he offered Sir Ray a new position of his own. Right. Then Darren Nichols called. The squirrels were unable to listen in and find out what.

Veronica worked out at Atlas during the afternoon, where both Max and Fred picked fights with the small, slender girl with little fighting experience and a standing obsession with developing pictures. Lady Charlotte prepares for her wedding as Sir Dale came to speak to her of his new position.

After Geoffrey's departure, the theatre is in something of a rut with new director Darren Nichols. I'm told there was a great deal of 'double-you-tee-eff'ing, whatever that might mean, although obviously Dinah glomped Priestly like the tweety she is, Savannah cried on Karla in a surprising change-up of how these things usuall go, Sophie and Vince were annoyed, and Karla and Ender... spoke about the weekend. Of course.

Then there's a rehearsal, which apparently ends so badly that Prince Edward is placed under arrest for throwing himself at Darren in anger over his treatment of Savannah and Karla. Zack is confused - now there's a novelty - as Darren orders him to get his costumes ready twenty minutes ago. Darren is also present, if anyone's wondering, where he decided he hated Vince, Dinah rhymes at him, and Darren's cup starts moving. What, did he bring some servants as well?

At the clinic, Bones the physician finished reading on ' STDs', whatever they are.

In store-opening news that isn't interesting, Ellie catered to the horses, Prince Edward took care of a cat, Mary noticed something funny, Fiona was worried, Adam dealt with shipments, Eliza threw a poetic fit, and Jack had horrible hair. Are we finished?

*chittering*

Good. Good night, Fandom.

*sound of door slamming shut*

[Psst, you left out Creative Writing. I feel like this should rhyme, but I can't come up with anything.]

[That's on the squirrel, I'm afraid. I sometimes miss posts that are cleverly disguised .... by being posted in the right place and clearly marked. Thank you for noticing.]
