Fandom High Radio, Tuesday, July 28th

Good evening, Fandom. I am Arthur Pendragon, and this is Tuesday's radio broadcast.

*chittering*

With squirrels, yes, I think we've all been properly inundated to that fact. Shall we move past that into the actual notes, before someone falls asleep again? Good.

Veronica takes a nap in the lounge. I'm not sure that's what it's for. Debt class finally moves on to the necessary parts, such as how to get out of debt. There are lists to be shared with the class, as Professor Lily remains there to be spoken to. Mythbusting speaks about making explosives, which is timely, considering the reserves today, as Professor Tyler gives a lecture on how to do it. Jo falls asleep in the middle of all of it, which Professor Tyler rightfully interrupts. Then Katina and Francine find themselves reunited. I'm glad to hear that.

Explosives are made by several teams, while Anemone and Ino serve as TAs. Ino comes to an accord with Tyler on the matter of Fight Club, after which he has to deal with a Turtle. Who is a turtle. Strike five. Film Through The Ages discusses American film of the 1920s. Apparently this involves animation flipbooks and more movies. Professor Mitchell admires George's artistic prowess while he's at it.

Photography class continues to develop pictures in an exercise that has now gone on for several weeks when all it should take is a few seconds. Even I know that. Finally, though, the pictures are displayed, hopefully to both Professor Veronica's and Harry's liking.

Flight and Flying practices flying a freighter, flying through asteroids and disabling Drol which is all perfectly normal. TAs Jess and Peter are on duty, as the latter takes some time to speak to Claire about last week's Strike Three. Finally, Master Anakin is there. You didn't show up at the reserves today, did you, by any chance?

Creative Writing plays laser tag... ... Well, that is very creative. Professor Rick has a lecture, the class teams up, and there's the usual staff of TA and teacher.

Gibbs is at work with his email in his office, while Sophie listens to Tshay-cough-skee. Whatever that might be.

DORMS

Katina has returned to us at last; good to hear. Sam awakens from a strange bout of sleep with his-- friend. Elsewhere, Bobby and Kate add a belated strike six as he returns to a naked normal after being a penguin for a while. All right. Always keep clothing nearby if there are any spontaneous animal transformations. Maron and Turtle the turtle are out to comfort Elle during her... times of woe, while Priestly beats a hasty retreat back to see his mother. Charming. Gabrielle is suffering from some neck issues upon her return. Savannah agitates her dog by napping. That's a kind, considerate dog. Jennifer and George discuss goldfish, fur, and the fact that George is a werewolf.

He's taken care of, right? I'd say that was ridiculous, but... Yakko falls asleep halfway into writing the letter L. Are we really going to waste our time on these kind of minutiae, squirrels? Really?

No, you're not. Hoshi returns to her room after shopping, then falls asleep. Lot of that going around.

The reserves spoke of guerilla tactics today, which we'll be devoting some time to. There waas mingling and discussion, and Ino shared with us - and with Griff - her experiences in the use of such tactics. Then we scouted the streets to find good hiding places. We were there, and Layla chose to talk to Zack about her fears about all the napping, which he then saw fit to bring to me. Yes, that has me absolutely terrified.

On the third floor, Bobby is channel surfing after his penguin misadventure, and shares his boredom with Peyton and Liir.

TOWNIES

Jack Burton is excited at Photo Hut, brilliant, perhaps he's figured out how to make pictures in a few seconds, Veronica falls asleep while researching, and the angel Castiel departs to do his work elsewhere.

At the MHA, Haley doodles on the angel Loki's face and I'm sure there's some kind of rule against that. Ask a priest. Lady Wilhelmina was at the Perk for some coffee, and spoke to Jack Priest about being from the past. I'm sure I can find a few more people to join that circle. Tim Desmond also came to meet Mina.

At the theatre, there were, as per usual, rehearsals. With muffins and other foodstuffs. Liir found himself harassed by Joan about his 'daddy issues', which sounds ridiculous. There's no such thing. They actually rehearsed and Dinah and Zack - the stage manager, ahaha - discussed his cancelled courtship with Turtle. Sort of hard when she's on strike five, isn't it? Geoffrey was there, and exhausted.

Bones read up on the 'shitty' medical journals of the 21st century. I thought you'd all be more careful with those rather than letting them sit out in the horse's dung all day, but apparently I was wrong. Ellie, Hinata and Ino were hard at work, Mary had to deal with those looking to rent a room for an hour, Jack fell asleep while offering boat rides, and Adam was at work.

And then Raven sold Hoshi a back massager. Right... You know, you can get people for that.
