Fandom Radio, Wednesday, March 25th

Good evening, Fandom. I hope the day finds you well and peaceful. I am Arthur Pendragon of Camelot, and I'll be sharing the news with these squirrels today.

*chittering*

No, the bird cannot come back. Stop miming ears. It's embarrassing to look at.

SCHOOL

Leadership class discusses the difficulties of keeping absolutely everyone happy. They discuss the strategies that could be taken if a large army attacked their lands and only a limited number of people could be saved. That... would be harsh, but realistic. I hope no one will ever have to face that choice.

In Heroing class, we scaled a wall in order to support sir Hammer's brilliant incentive to use tools in combat. The scaling wasn't too bad. Better than wrestling underwater creatures, at least. Anthropomorphic Anatomy talked about reproduction, and which traits should be passed on. Right. Sam took to his duties at the library, where he confessed to kissing Chuck. I continue to marvel at the information you squirrels insist I read. Peter came by to receive thanks for his efforts in dealing with Chuck. I'd thank him for his efforts if he managed to keep this sort of thing off the radio, too.

Flight Club made paper airplanes. I'm sure they were very useful. They spoke and ate as per usual. Tahiri's inquiries to Gavin were rudely interrupted when she and Jaina found themselves bitten by a gremlin. I'm sorry. I hope the both of you have recovered with as little damage done to your pride as possible. Anakin surveyed. As... a cat. Which John saw fit to taunt. I'm absolutely sure that'll end well.

Lady Zoe received an audience from Deadpool, who saw fit to speak of children and... 'playdates'. I'm simply not going to ask. Meanwhile, Sir Minsc spent the day practicing his skill at the fine art of language.

DORMS

Thankfully, after a week of being even more useless than usual, Merlin returned to human form. In my room. For some reason, the details of his transformation have excited this squirrel. I meant it when I said stop it with the ears. Alex is flipping through a 'magazine' while she listens to the radio. Chuck hides in his room, no doubt after Peter's actions, whatever they were. He invites Blair to help rid him of his problem, but she does the wise thing and laughs at him first. Sam also pays visit to laugh at him; in turn, Chuck attempts to convince him to intervene. I'm not certain you're going to the right people, Chuck, by the sounds of it. Warren speaks to his father, and then Lee shortly afterwards, to discuss how Warren should see more feasts. They're actually fairly good at this castle: no speaches and plenty of drinks.

On the roof, Triela is making plans to scale the walls with Dinah's assistance. I see no way in which this could go wrong. Jack climbs up the rope to join them. I hope he's planning to chaperone. Sokka learns of this brilliant venture by nearly having Dinah fall on him. Followed by Triela, who does nearly the same thing. Lady Angela investigates, and I'm hoping she didn't find herself crushed either. You never know. Dinah attempts to invite her into this scheme, which she wisely declines. Jack follows the both of them. You're a brave man, Jack.

Our leaders of cheer exercise to 'rocking music'. That... sounds fairly dull, I have to admit. They stretched, and Ronon was present.

In the second floor common room, Lady Blysse arrives for her weekly gathering of Teevee watching. My manservant discusses the joys of having thumbs with Tony. Don't forget to do my laundry. He speaks to Lady Blysse as well, about the equal joys of speaking to animals, and I'm sure it was absolutely engaging. Tony explains about the wolves on the Teevee, which aren't real, but rather puppets. Which would be immediately obvious to anyone with a brain: it'd hardly help any performer if he got eaten by a wolf halfway in. Claire is a bit skeptical, but engages Lady Blysse in conversation about the politics of wolves regardless. I'd have stuck with her first impulse. Tony and Claire catch up about art. Right.

In a stunning display of me actually agreeing with a squirrel, Merlin's hopes of being saved before making a fool out of himself next time are completely and utterly doomed to fail. Trust me, Claire. Francine explains to Lady Blysse that the corn is to be eaten, not thrown. She's also more than happy to see Merlin returned to his original form. Aren't we all? Turtle finishes off the cycle of explaining things to Lady Blysse by letting her in on what an enthusiast is.

TOWNIES

Naomi got her usual gift of burgers from Jack at Stark Industries. Claire was finding some songs to her liking at Things Reborn. Merlin's roommate appeared in search of something to do, and she put him squarely to work. As you should. He seems like he could use it. Johnny staffed the diner, where Dinah made Merlin celebrate the end of his latest round of foolishness. Don't encourage him. At the Knight's Station, sir Dale and sir Daisy had what appears to be a transcendental experience over coffee. To each their own? Sir Max was present as well, and I really fail to see how any of the following is relevant information.

Lady Alice continued her education at Groovy Tunes, until my roommate interrupted her. If this is going to end in loud noise, Lord Leto, I'd be very appreciative if you kept it out of the room. Iroh opened the Jasmine Dragon, the new tea shop. Ronan came by to get some tea. It's a tea shop, what else would he do? Sokka calls him a general, but Sir Iroh isn't fond of the title. Turtle also took to the shop for its intended purpose - being tea - and Kurogane wished to know if any of the tea was powdered.

Right.

Lord Romeo was attempting to start a fire at the beach, but he wasn't in much luck. He managed in time for Lady Dojima to arrive, however. I hope all went well. Ben and sir Daisy met at Fast Eddie's for courting, while Lady Mina chose to stay in. At Caritas, Lady Penelope passed out after too much ale, and Hurley kept her company while Tully helped himself to some strong drink. The physician was in as usual.

Also being opened were the Android's Dungeon, where Sarah received payment on Momoko's debts, Pixie Dust, where the stench of burning clothing can still be found, Strokes of Genius, MCA and Wellspring Arms, where Ino wasn't speaking to the plants for once. At Turtle & Canary, Amber cleaned, while Ichigo found himself in a mood at Coyote Medicine. Finally, Liir was at Cafe Fina, and Jeff spoke of birthdays with Turtle. After nearly getting thrown out of the Arms Hotel. I'd be surprised if he wasn't.

Kappa Kappa Gremlin met at Fast Eddie's once more, where they ate and entertained themselves, and Sokka made the desperate mistake of complimenting Hannibal on his skills. Trust me, he doesn't have many.

And since it can no longer be avoided... Jaina and Tahiri found themselves outside the school gates after being bit by a gremlin. They decided the castle was too gloomy and something needed to be done. Are you sure you want me to read this?

*chitter*

Fine. Hurley didn't know why Tahiri insisted on referring to him as a little boy. Neither do I, but it prompted Jaina to offer him friendship. Tahiri claimed she was a Funshine Bear, and that prompted her to hug Dinah. Cal waved at Jaina, but apparently not in a way that was entirely to her liking. Tahiri giggled at him, which led to him dubbing her mad. It's a temporary madness, Cal; besides, you of all people should know. Jaina asked Robin if he was a cousin of hers. ... I sincerely doubt it. Tahiri finally established this after some time. Yes. Joining the chorus of confusion was Lois, who wanted to know what was going on. The answer? Gremlins. Jaina then made Lois laugh with a stare. Which was entirely harmless. John inquired as to who'd hate the whole thing more in the morning, and while Lois answered 'Jaina', I'd settle on both of them.

John asked Jaina if this somehow had anything to do with the 'special brownies'. ...Right. Then he 'took pictures'. Zayne joined the hug parade, and worried Tahiri was having a seizure.

It's not a seizure. It's temporary madness, and it's something of a concern.

To finish up, we've got the Sewing Circle, now to be known as the... Stitch'n'bitch. Sounds snappy. Lady Elisabeth is pleased to see Lady Mina, as they've got much to talk about. Very engaging. Sir MinscSimon comes bearing tea, which he no doubt got from the tea shop. As that's what it's for. Let's see... Charlotte is thrilled to meet Lady Elisabeth, who's interested in Harper's shirt.

...

Sweet mercy, squirrels, get me more rum. I think I'm going to fall asleep.

Liz mingles, Lady Elisabeth and Lady Elisabeth talk about their weekends, and Agnes wishes to know if they're having a feast. Deadpool brings Arashi, who laments his lack of ale or anything comparable. I've got plenty of rum up here, but I fear I might have finished it all before I'm done with this bloody sewing circle. He wished Lady Elisabeth a happy birthday. Lady Elisabeth offers Simon the physician some scraps, but he claims the process is different from sewing up a human body. I'd... think so, Simon. Lady Elisabeth wishes to know about Ronon's progress, and likewise Deadpool's, who's having some trouble. Sir Minsc is in urgent need of inappropriate language. I... never thought he would. Need any. That is. Lady Mina slaps Deadpool for his assumptions about her nature. Harper, Agnes and Arashi stitch, the latter with some foul language. There you go, Sir Minsc.

*slosh*

Lady Mina is impressed by Lady Elisabeth's humility, Lindsay brings her a present, and guards the place in case something attacks.

Which it didn't.

...

Luckily. Yes.

I think that was all for the night. Be safe, and try to avoid charging into any sewing circles as they're obviously heavily guarded.

A certain amount of giggling was punctuated by only a couple "Hey!" 's tonight. Also an imitation of "More rum, squirrels!" at various intervals.

Dinah makes her own fun, sometimes.

[ooc: heeeeeeeeeeeeee!]
