Barbossa: This be yer favorite pirate, bringin' ye the highs 'n lows, the goods, the bads, and everythin' else on this quiet Sunday in Fandom. T' make things a mite more interestin' I be bringin' along a friend t' help.
Anakin: I'm not your friend.
Barbossa: Ye can be quiet. I be not talkin' about ye.
Josh: I'm your friend, huh? I'm honored. Um, I guess. Have we actually met?
Readin', Writin', Rithamatic
Barbossa: That be not important. It be seemin' that Professor Camulus be leavin' town, and puttin' his class in the hands o' Phoebe. Whether that be better or worse fer ye, well, I be not sure.
Anakin: I'm saying worse.
Josh: Quite the optimist, aren't you?
Anakin: Not normally, no.
Roomin'
Barbossa: Aeryn be wakin' up today.
Anakin: This is news?
Josh: Yeah, I don't really get it either. Anyway. Nadia and Walter are up on the roof smoking--that's bad for you, kids, don't do it--and then kissing. I don't know these people--is it okay for me to be telling people this? Anyway, Angela, who I do know, goes up to talk to Nadia about prom. There's no kissing, as far as I'm aware.
Barbossa: Pippi be makin' pancakes in the fifth floor common room, then Boone be stoppin' by t' welcome Ed back--welcome back, Ed--before Alphonse be stoppin' by t' say hello t' his brother. And be bringin' pie. Speakin' o' pie, hello, Miho!
Anakin: Jaye's calling her friend from home, Lana's studying for her US History exam...
Josh: Good idea, Lana!
Anakin: And John and Aeryn are...okay, I'm not reading that. And last night Bridge and Xander...okay, I'm not reading that either.
Josh: Yeah, good call, man. Nice to see you without the Zorro outfit, by the way.
Anakin: Hmph.
Josh: Oh, and it seems Sam is reading today, too. You guys were wiped by prom, huh?
Anakin: Maybe a little. I mean, the second floor common room's quiet tonight, and that never happens. Marty, Anders, Angel, and Ellizabeth are watching "Oval Office"...
Josh: That show never gets things right...
Anakin: And Nadia's up on the fifth floor watching AKA and throwing plantains. What's plantain?
Barbossa: It be like a banana.
Anakin: What's a banana?
Barbossa: It be not that important. Stop yer sulkin'. Pip be joinin' her in the common room, in any case.

Barbossa: After prom last night, Professor Lyman 'n Dr. Who's Name I Be Not Pronouncin' be goin' to Ching Thai's. How be Angel feelin' about this, Professor?
Josh: *sounds of headdesking*
Barbossa: *slightly louder* And Parker 'n Jarod be walkin' home together from the event as well. I be told it be quite adorable.
Anakin: You just called Parker "adorable?"
Barbossa: Aye.
Anakin: Huh. It's on your head, I guess. Anyway, in town, Phoebe's going to see Orlin. I don't know who that is, so I don't care.
Barbossa: Don't be petulant, Annie, or I'll be playin' yer banthabell song again.
Anakin: Why you...
Josh: ANYWAY. Cafe Fina's hosting brunch this morning, but no one seems to have shaken off their sugar hangovers from the completely non-spiked prom punch enough to head into town for it.
Anakin: And speaking of prom, it seems like Hamlet managed to relocate the volcano down to the beach and blow it up with help from Macbeth and Kawalsky as a birthday gift to himself. Did it make an Earth-shattering kaboom?
Josh: You know Marvin the Martian?
Anakin: I love that guy!
Josh: He's so great, isn't he? I love the part...
Barbossa: *coughs loudly*
Anakin: Right. Anyway, it wasn't an actual volcano, which are full of lava and can burn limbs and stuff and are generally not good to play around. Not that I'm planning on playing around near a volcano in my life.
Josh: *long pause* Good to know. I guess.
Barbossa: Ye be a strange, strange person, Anakin. The clinic be quiet in both mornin' and evenin', which be a good thing, as thar be no, um, lava related-injuries of any kind.
That be all from the Crow's Nest fer tonight! Keep an eye out fer Matey-wit'-the-Hat...
Anakin: Especially if he's in a golf cart...
