Fandom Radio [Thursday, September 4th]

"Hi, people! I know, you guys just heard my lovely voice on Saturday, but guess what, it's my actual broadcast this time. And thank god there aren't as many notes, you chatty little freaks.

Classes, which ha-ha you all had to go to

Leadership, like all classes this week, did intros. Agnes talked to Nathan about being stuck in leadership roles. Which sucks, dude, but at least people are listening and stuff, right? Jaina and Lucas stared at one another or whatever, while Meg and Ben talked monarchies and basket-weaving. Weird. Turtle was a suck-up, and everyone else talked about who's in charge, while after class, Nathan talked to Meg about her mommy, the president. I don't know. I just hope she's better than what we've got at the moment.

Aviation got started with intros, and then Murdock gave a fascinating-sounding lecture on the history of flight. Wow, that almost sounds like real school.

Speaking of real school, I guess we have a lit class now. There was a lecture, during which Brooke passed notes with Peyton and apparently got caught. Oh, Brooke. Rodney and Sokka whispered about physics, which, really guys, you're going to whisper about that? Laaaaaame. Also in things that are lame, Lucas was a kiss-ass and ignored Peyton's note. And everyone introduced themselves and discussed things, and after class, Miss Bennet was concerned about Penelope's health, and reassured Lucas about books. Wow, first day and she already is way nicer to her kids than I ever was. Though I did give them condoms. Let's see if you do that.

In the library, we had Sam hanging with Dr. Jones -- goddammit, Aqua stuck in my head now. Anyway, Dean came by with lunch and to get his hate on about some girl named Jess, and then Peter was there to flirt about how Sam's wallowing.

In office hours, we had John made notes on his students, Benton...went through his mail, Anakin got a visit from Ino and presumably thought her hair was adorable, Mike worked on his syllabus, and Ronon got visits from Kaylee who isn't someone else and Miss Bennet who is into discipline. *whip sound* And finally, Lily kicked ass at Solitaire during her office hours.

Dorms, where the children sleep in their general lameness

Ben dropped by to apologize to Jaina for freaking her out, and Karal talked to her about Anakin and a horse and licking Gavin and that is pretty much the most bizarre thing ever. Michael dropped by to chat about Ino and food and classes with Liir, while Amber and Liir are nerds and talked about books. And finally, Jaina and Weird Hair Kid talked about babies and oh my god, Weird Hair Kid, don't knock up your tiny girlfriend. I can't handle that. Yes, it's about me right now. I can't be a...grandteacher. Grandbartender.

In the fourth floor common room, Adam had pretzels and was doing the studying thing. Penelope checked in on whether Fandom's really as weird as she hears, and yeah, it is. Mac met Penelope, and then went on to basically call Adam a giant nerd.

In the fifth floor common room, Jen threw a party for Alex's birthday! How exciting, or something! Adam was there, and he caught up with Hoshi, and talked to Jen about warehouses. How interesting. Friday told him he was trying to be more social.

Hoshi checked on her little brother, Hoshi, who didn't know the birthday boy, and Angela told him that as a normal non-alien person, he totally blended in. Tony met Hurley, while Jen offered him some pizza. Hoshi caught up with Jen, while Angela was totally into the Cheetos and Jen thanked her for coming before going on to meet Tony, who also said hi to a really-friendly Marco.

Lola and Ino chatted about the sock-eating thingies from earlier this week, and Jen liked her hair and also guessed she was from Germany. Andros caught up with Hoshi and Jen, while Dojima talked to Romeo about the radio and fake dates and oh, honey, I know what that's like. Not that I've been on any, but Benton's way too nice for his own good. Jen was also glad to see her, and they discussed the party to come tomorrow night. Romeo assured Ino that he wasn't wallflowering, talked classes with Friday, and admitted he didn't know the birthday boy to Jen. Cal and Hoshi talked about the play, then met Jen and chatted with Lola and noticed Ino's adorable new hair. Dojima and Ino talked about how the radio is a bunch of lying perverts -- HEY! I am not a pervert. And Jen and Ino chatted...nutrition.

Friday got an invite to have some pizza, as did Marco. Wes had pizza even though he apparently has a hate-on for the birthday boy. Dick got there late, and there were presents, and a birthday boy, and a cake.

Tony chatted with Ino about their mutual hate of Friday classes, Hoshi and Dick bonded over not actually knowing Alex and wondering who's going to open the presents. Guys, steal them. And Alex was all astonished he got a party, and Friday wished him a happy birthday. Alex was all 'thanks, dude I don't know.'

And finally, Jamie was all emo on the roof.

Town, where the awesomeness is

At Wellspring Arms, I stopped by and showed off my gun before going back to shoot things. Myn came in to just meet Cable, and I went and shot stuff in the back -- which was awesome, by the way, I totally rock -- and Wade and I chatted about porn and lesbians and so forth. As you do. Gabriel was trying to find Fandom on a map, and was weirdly unsuccessful.

...Jan the unicorn grazed and told Friday he wanted some oats. He got a croissant. Wendy was jogging and got unicorn company, and Claire was distracted by hi, uniforn. And Robin-the-green-and-felty freaked Jan out. That's a sign, dude. When the unicorn thinks you're weird....

Anyway, Cal was reading at Luke's until Romeo showed up all crazy and jealous about Cal sniffin' around his laaaaaaady or something. God, I fail so hard at this. Anyway, Amber also wanted to know all about the date, and Cal told her it was more of a business transaction. Dude, I don't know what happened, but I do know that Dojima's just threatening enough that I wouldn't go around implying that our dates were...business transactions.

Chad rushed to Groovy Tunes, and it was Peyton's first day, and she was around post-training. Jamie was all philosophical, and Shikamaru sleep-walked into a shelf before Hurley learned about squishies.

At the hotel, Hoshi was justly grossed out by sauerkraut on pizza. Eww. Eve was happy to be back at the gallery, and oh hey, that smelly pirate's back.

In clinical news -- hey, this usually goes at the end! Weird! Anyway, there was a clinic, with a nurse and an Igor.

And then there was the baaaaaar. I was bored as hell, but then Benton showed up so we could make out like we're sixteen. I still have no idea what was up with that, but hi, not objecting. Rusty was kind of generally freaked out about the island at Nathan -- no, seriously, you get weirdly used to it, I promise -- and I found out he's my new landlord. Who isn't making me get rid of my dogs!

And on that note, I'm heading home. Night, Fandom. Sleep well, and remember to use a condom."
