Fandom Radio, March 15
Jaye: Hi, there. This is Jaye, who... Okay. Let's face it. You other radio people seem to be having a little competition to see who can do the most cracked-out broadcast. And I haven't even been competing.
So say hello to my little friends. This is wax lion...
"Wax lion" (in a high-pitched Jaye voice): Hello.
And brass monkey.
"Brass monkey" (in a lower Jaye voice): Hi.
Jaye: Have fun with it, boys.
School. Where People Learn Stuff. Presumably.
"Wax lion": The poor suckers in Shop class got to build sets for the play, which rehearsed today.
"Brass monkey": The girl over here says there had better be some popcorn or tomatoes to throw at the performers.
"Wax lion": US Government pretends to be senators and US History talks about significant moments. Not dirty.
"Brass monkey": Speech, Magical Theory, Not Advanced Journalism and Paleontology watches a movie. Lousy bums. Though Not Advanced Journalism did see Peter Parker turned into an octopus.
"Wax lion": Molly and I- I mean, Jaye crashed Advanced Journalism, where John Crichton was turned into a potbellied pig. Who cares about actual class stuff. He was a pig.
"Brass monkey": Do you find it odd that we're reporting everyone getting turned into animals?
"Wax lion": I have no idea what you mean. No one in Journalistic Integrity got turned into anything. Woe. Anthropology discusses anthropology, funny that, and Sociology and Biology combine forces to become Biology of Violence!
"Brass monkey": Does that mean they talked about what happens when you get shotinated and your guts fall out?
"Wax lion": ...Ew.
"Brass monkey": Professor Grissom covers the Science classes, Celtic Studies talks about the homework I'm sure everyone did over break, ha, and Broots takes over teaching Math while Zhaan takes over Gardening.
"Wax lion": Finishing up the boring classes section, Western Civ is canceled, Self Defense class not club meets, and Driver's Ed gets to practice actual driving. Please tell me they get bumper cars before they're let out into real traffic.
"Brass monkey": Dean Zordon calls Molly into his office. Pippi visits Principal Washburn, Professor Dream holds office hours, and we seem to have another new teacher.
"Wax lion": In the library, Crunch is chased with a mop. No, wait, BY a mop.
Jaye: Seriously? Oh, right.
"Wax lion": Nadia wants to know what a lorax is. I think it's a lozenge.
"Brass monkey": That was my line.
"Wax lion": No, it wasn't.
"Brass monkey": I was the one the girl was moving, thereby simulating talking.
"Wax lion": Whatever. Angela and Zero talk about Zero's date. OMG YAY. And Hot Mountie is there.
"Brass monkey": Hot Mountie yay.
"Wax lion": Rory shows him a picture of Xander who is sleeeeeeping, aw. Zero and Parker eat together, Marty wants butler-hugging pics back, wtf, and he and Parker get yelled at for yelling.
"Brass monkey": The clinic is slow in the morning, and Professor Calendar saw Dr. Susan. Blink. If my- her- the psych teacher is in therapy...
The Dorms. Where People are Teenage.
"Wax lion": Callisto and Angel are cute and not scrapbooking in the morning. Blair visits, Veronica tells him about boykissy-
Jaye: YAY BOYKISSY. *cough* Sorry. Automatic.
"Wax lion": Molly and Marty bring him presents, Janet stops by to check in and harrass, and Bel isn't too happy with the YAY BOYKISSY.
"Brass monkey": Come to love it. It's nice. Go for it.
"Wax lion": Rory sends Jaye the scariest E-mail EVER, Bel and Logan, and I quote, "FLAILINATE". Is this still about the boykissy? SIgh.
"Brass monkey": Pippi sews sails- Um. Huh. I guess everyone needs a hobby. But then there's sailing after, so I guess it makes sense.Walter gets a warning about the Ides of March. Like anything bad ever happened today.
"Wax lion": "Kiki pays a visit to Bel and Phoebe, Ivanova is emo like woah, aw, and Bridgey, I mean, Bridge, works on a project in his room.
"Brass monkey": Molly stops by Aeryn's room, Sam and her strangulinated self get lots of visitors, and Angel is bored.
"Wax lion": In the second floor common room, Jakey and Krycek and Parker talk TV, and Parker and Rory lament the play. Seriously. Popcorn.
"Brass monkey": Molly talks about her day, and Jaye was totally a good girl.
Jaye: I was.
"Wax lion": Callisto is totally not visited by her boyfriend, Xander is educated in the fine art of HoYay. Which means YAY BOYKISSY.
*pause*
Jaye: No, I will not stop saying that.
*pause*
Jaye: Sh. Get back to work.
Town. Where Fandom's Economy Thrives.
"Brass monkey": Camulus and Orlin fight, and then... *paper shuffles* Yeah.
Moving on.
"Wax lion": At the clinic, Marty goes to see Tommy, and Natalie's alone in the evening. Aw. We should visit her.
"Brass monkey": Lana is on time to work, and Jaye would like to remind her about those seven free minutes she gets. Also, if you use that for coming in, going to and from lunch, and leaving, you have an extra half hour of not working.
"Wax lion": Orlin refuses to get the hint and leave Agatha alone, and Blair heads into Empire Records for some new tunes.
"Brass monkey": Molly, who is OMG BUSY today, goes with another list to All and Sundries, while Walter stops in for other stuff. Uh huh.
"Wax lion": There's experimental candy at Wonka's, and at Caritas, Jarod is doing something. Hmmm. And Professor Calendar and Dr. Susan go for a walk. Good to exercise.
Jaye: This has been Jaye and... well, I don't know if I can actually call them friends, but whatever. I'm going back to my room now. Say goodnight, boys.
*long pause*
Jaye: I hope someone heard that.
