Fandom Radio, Thursday March 28, really
Well, hello there, Fandom. This is Brooke again, coming at you... okay, at a different date and time than usual, but work with me on this, okay? Gotta mix it up a little bit, you know?
School, where I'm reporting on different classes today!
I mean, class is class and ew anyway, but still, I like a change every now and then. Invasions class played with dinosaurs, which I assume couldn't eat you. Okay, look, befriending the squirrels might be a little weird, but there is a total difference between squirrels and dinosaurs. And then everyone talked during it, and how do dinosaurs not worry you? Tactics worked in pairs to get information, which doesn't sound that different from high school normally. And Professor Kerrigan had coffee and now I want some, too. Conflict Management talked about styles and animals. ....Okay, does that mean like, animal prints? I'm not sure I want to know. And there was something about a defining animal and I'm guessing this is why the squirrel is calling the teacher Professor Cougar?
We watched a movie in French class, and it's a little weird, reporting on classes I was in. Meanwhile Ethics class turned in their creepy/cute droid babies and none of the students were tired at all really. I really want to thank my Cool professors for leaving it at eggs.
The office was on a sugar buzz, Bridge opened the library, where Sky returned books, Professors Atreides and Aly had quiet office hours while Professor Nathan got grilled by his brother about his date. As you do.
And in club news, Girls with Guns met but I'm thinking that name's a lie because I see boys' names on here. Anyway, they're going to be doing a paintball thing, and Romeo discussed strategy but Ino wouldn't, and Sky was wary, probably because I hear those paintball things hurt a lot. Triela told Naomi that it's a great way to improve her skills, and I think Triela just wants to see people get bruised. She explained the paintballing to Ino, Sokka was bouncy, Turtle talked to Triela about joining the club and Sokka about responsibility. And then there was shooting. This school scares me.
Dorms, wherein things happened
Romeo scavenged for food and watched TV about food, which kind of seems like some self-torture there, and Ferris wondered what's wrong with the island where there's no parties. So they planned one. I knew I liked you both. Karal was working late, but not getting woken up by a droid baby as shared custody is a beautiful thing, Lana emoed over not having her droid babies anymore and that scares me coming from a high school student, and Jaina and Inara went to have a little talk with Evey, which didn't happen because they all got gremlin bit.
....Seriously? Oh my god, best ever.
So yeah, Jaina, Inara and Evey took over the third floor common room thinking they were Pussycat Dolls. This is like Christmas for me. And I bet you anything I would have looked better in the outfit than the wannabe. As with any scantily-clad girl group showing how open they are for business, there was gawking, with Luke not being especially happy with this, Gavin and John loving every second and eventually offering up cash for clothing removal, Karal, who got a freaked-out Luke, John, who was glad Artoo was recording, and Sky, Sam, Naomi, Ino and Jamie enjoyed the show. Karal finally dragged Evey off, too. Uh huh. I'm kind of sorry I missed it, but at the same time I think I would have lost my voice from all the laughing and wouldn't be here now.
Town, where there was probably no popped-up burlesque, though you never know
The scary place was open for business, and I sort of forgot it wasn't just open on Wednesdays to freak me out. Karal came in and wasn't too happy with Cable looking through his mind, and if I was never going to set foot in there before, I'm definitely not now. Ino went for a fighting lesson and she and Cable talked about ruling the world. So all right, that's not okay? Gabriel played a trumpet at the church, Charlotte got run over by Dale, who's apparently not someone she's divorcing. Good to know. I'm sure that would mess up the settlement if he was. Lucas was at the golf place, where he got a visit from me, and his new appendage Lana. Book Haven, Luke's and the Arms were open, you theater types should know there's casting going on, and Isabel spent her shift at Pixie Dust sleeping. That's what class is for.
Ami worked on her computer at the Magic Box, Melody made a CD at Groovy Tunes, Geoffrey and Makoto were happy at work, and Sokka checked out Turtle and Canary's electronics aisle. And finally, Jolee took over Caritas to make Tino nuts. I can get behind that, as long as he doesn't get so crazy he starts messing up my drink order.
That's all the notes for today. Last night, whatever. This has been Brooke Davis, throwing you off like you're Tino.
