Fandom Radio, March 5
First off, I'm not making any apologies for radio last week, but I do need to return this sombrero to this squirrel and he needs to be telling me what that hat was doing in my hotel room. No, no. Not here. Later.
Also, I'm seventeen now. Yes. All presents can be delivered to room 512, care of Brooke.
School, which is back now. Yay. Really
Public Speaking talked like they know things, which will actually be useful in real life. And they demonstrated by trying to explain the last few days. Yeah, do you know how annoying it is to be singing the happy birthday song to yourself all damn day? And Lawyering Up was all busy again this week, talking about estate law. Wyatt and Isabel, who I keep trying to call Wisabel, teased each other about wills in which they're married, Chris and Lana made plans since he missed Mexico, Meg and Isabel wondered who to leave their romance novels to, Turtle asked Professor Nathan if he wanted to see her actual will, and that worries me. Z explained that she can't do the assignment due to being a sparkly ball of light, and moving on because ow my head, and Sam and Dean agree to keep each other alive forever. Um.
Gods class had their midterm, and Bridge, Sky and Z had to take oral midterms due to that little ball of light thing. Okay, this is why this place freaks me out. Driver's Ed also had their midterm, which involved a high speed chase and then trying not to hit Aravis. And then crashed. ...WHAT? And then Discovery and Invention learned about seige weapons and made their own. I'm so never sleeping again.
Adah opened the library, and the office was both open and damp, and we might want to call some contractors for possible mold or something. The sadistic DE teacher called Seely and Aravis to his office hours, Aly had her own, where Professor... Juli complained about students not being student-shaped, and while we're on this topic, is this contagious? Because this is so not in my list of things I need to do here. Zuko burst in to tell her he kissed Katara, and hi, I'm not telling my teachers who I'm making out with. Especially since that's what radio's for. And Seregil complimented her singing voice. It's nice when the students appreciate.
Dorms, where things happen now that everyone isn't in Mexico
In the fifth floor common room, Sokka was poking at a box of melty giraffes. If you keep poking at them, it's not going to be happy when they're all water. And the frog I'm trying to deny the existence of so I don't just freak out was all freaked out on the roof. Existential crisis, maybe?
Sam brought Dean lunch, but that got ruined when he had to go ahead and have a vision. And then they went off to talk to Wyatt and Chris and my roomie. Formerly-Hard-to-Get Peter did some drawing, and then went to see Chris and Wyatt.
Seely and Aravis were not happy after going to see Professor Sadist, Sky was in a bad mood, and okay, squirrels? How did you know that? Isn't he like, light? Continuing the weird, Evey got to consoley a nervous horsey boyfriend, and Dojima tried to set things straight with Romeo after everyone was busting out into song all day, while Reno and Rikku argued about it. Sometime I'm recording radio for a week and send it back to my parents just to see what they say. Namine told Valentine she might have to go soon, and what, give up all this?
Town, where it snowed giraffes. Seriously.
So to get the blah blah business stuff out of the way, Groovy Tunes, Luke's, the banana stand, the Arms and Book Haven were all open but quiet. Amber opened Turtle and Canary, where people just kept coming in. Geoffrey stopped in for some things, Lirr talked to her about Andrew's current state of bunny, and Amber dared Sokka to try the lemongrass squishy. It sounds like it could be good? And then we start talking squishy, and not so much. Savannah made a date with Johnny at the Photo Hut. And yet no word on cheerleading. PRIORITIES.
Over at the the trooper station, Faith told Dale that she heard from Renee. The scary place was slightly less scary today, with Cable telling Ino about a guy who tried to turn everyone blue to end racism. Which is a good goal, but blue's not really everyone's color. Jeff ran into a strange guy at the park and was asked where to find Gabriel, and Adah wouldn't tell the guy anything. Good girl, knows how to not talk to strangers. Mary, on the other hand, sent him straight to the church. The guy ran into Gabriel in the park later anyway. Cable headed to the beach with his laptop and declined an invite for TV watching from Deadpool, and Aly welcomed Roy home with a present. I'm sure it's more interesting when if it's dirty. Let's pretend it is.
Kabuto opened the Devil's Nest, where Ino tried to give him a ninja hug and I can only hope that doesn't mean one of those sharp silver star things was involved, and Faith opened Caritas, where Sokka called her a foxy lady. Haven't heard that expression in oh, ever, and there's a reason for it. And in the park, Wannabe's Boyfriend had a snow giraffe get impaled on his hair and die. Wow. Sokka tried to up the body count, Adam and John decided this is too weird, John offered to take bunny!Andrew off Liir's hands, and Melody caught giraffes in her hands- on purpose? Okay, I had one land on my eyelash this morning and that may have been the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.
Luckily I think the snowing hail of giraffes has ended, and it's safe to go outside again. Good night, and I'd rather be in Mexico.
