Fandom Radio, February 20
Hi welcome to another Wednesday radio blah blah what the hell ever look. I listented to radio last night. I heard word of cheerleading tryouts. I looked over the notes when I first got in here. Twice. I see no mentions of tryouts. What's up with this? Next week is spring break already and there seems to be some slacking. Do I have to start my own squad? Don't think I won't, and mine would be better. Now get on it if you expect a whole squad to be any good as a whole. GOD.
So where was I? Oh, right.
School, where I'm sure no one was paying attention due to sping breeeeeak!
Public Speaking learned about humorous speaking and how to be funny by telling jokes. Okay, except that you were probably speaking to high school boys who already think they're funny. Lawyering Up talked about constitutional law, and filled out a poll on which founding father they'd marry. What? Without testing the goods first? Anyway, we're light on the drama today, with Turtle still glittering but she told a lawyer joke so at least it's not interfering with her daily life. And then let's face it, Kinda False Advertising Peter talked to Sam and Professor Nathan about me. Ahem.
Gods class talked about artificically created organic people. Okay, I have to say, this class scares the hell out of me. They listed characteristics that would go into different types, and had discussion and if Kabuto wasn't happy about something else I'm gonna be really disturbed. Speaking of things that scare me, Drivers Ed was back behind the wheel again. They paired up to drive through rain and snow and fog and other things that don't make your mail late. And Discovery and Invention worked on basic chemistry, apparently making alcohol. That's handy. And Sokka was being all sorts of distuptive by throwing paper at Rodney- and did I thank you for that walk home, because thank you?- and then gave Lucas a pen to annoy Rodney.
There was also Fencing Club, because we need more of a reason to teach people how to use sharp things. The office was open, Dean Jones had aphids in her office hours and I have no idea what those are and I don't want to, and Glitch asked about a trip when he wasn't at his own office hours. Constable Fraser also had an open door, and he got Turtle and Jeff asking about hates and mooses. Mooses? Meece? What's right? And Adah opened the library, where she and River talked about how much they enjoyed the dance, and Adah told Lee about her sister getting married and how short he is. Well, yeah, but have you seen those arms?
Dorms, where I did try on my bathing suit today and I have to say I am looking really good.
Annette headed on out of town, Sky got a call from home, and okay, Katara's the popular one this time. She was all freaking out about an eclipse but thought Zuko was there for something else- uh huh- Liir asked if she was okay which is the story of how Liir met Katara, and she and my big brother Chad who I need to get measurements from, remind me, talked about his cat being a space kitty. Sure. Sokka was sharing in Katara's eclipse freakout- it's like a moon or something, people, and Cassandra asked if she was all right.
And then Katara had sex with everyone. Look, I think it spices up the broadcast.
Dojima was working at her computer, and Romeo, where's my phone call? Hoshi got letters from home, and told Mullet Boy all about it, deflating his whole angry thing he had going on. Kabuto was tapping away at his computer too, like it was apparently the night for it or something, unless you were Dawn, who practiced sword forms- oh, not you too- or Adam, who watched, or Mullet Boy, who just hit on the punching bag.
Karal and Evey had a pool date, where there was apparently blushing and touching and all that other cute lovey dovey stuff, and Doom did a cannonball. Which probably pissed them off a little. And in the second floor common room, Namine took over with her artwork, which she had to warn Mullet Boy to be careful of. Romeo asked about her project, and I guess Namine's cat has more artistic talent than him, or something? Not sure. Sokka told Romeo about alllll the girls hanging on him at the dance, I'm sure that's completely true, and told Namine about how he's a great artist, too, which he was happy to show off to Adah. I don't know this guy but I think he needs to be kicked, early and often. Reno came to admire the art, while Namine had reason to think she offended Adah with talk of trees, and Romeo largely ignored her for his art, though there are notes of cutesy underwear bought for someone, but I'm not sure what's going on here except I'm kinda waiting for scandal to break.
Town, where the weather is miserable and not working for said swimsuit!
Deadpool and Aly got together for the season premiere of America's Next Top Model, and if you were the hotel, you were open but not busy. That can't be said for like anywhere else today. Johnny opened the Photo Hut, where Savannah talked to him about cheerleading. Less talking, more public warning for tryouts. And I'm serious, people need time to practice. I will not be on a lazy, out-of-shape team, and that means even new people being in good form.
Andrew opened the Magic Box, where he and Isabel talked about being happy, A.J. brought Beauty a milkshake at the post office and talked about being worried about Annette, and he also opened Luke's, which got him some Romeo patronage. Jamie caught Teyla dancing at Groovy Tunes, and at the banana stand, George Michael asked Mike to be his best man. You know, I might have some spare condom balloons to leave on their doorstep... I"ll have to look.
Amber opened Turtle and Canary, which got visits from Billy and G'Kar, whose name I probably just butchered but you need more vowels. That's not my fault. Makoto opened Book Haven, Dale and Faith discussed Three Minute Dates at the trooper station, and Mullet Boy got a call at the park. And Ino opened the scary place, which had a Cable in it, Lana waking up Ino, and Liir saying he wouldn't be around for spring break. Wow. That actually sounds normal and not scary. Maybe it's the eclipse thing. Like the opposite of a full moon.
Faith opened Caritas apparently enthusiastically, where she and Renee failed at ignoring each other. Renee was busy drinking and talking to some guy who's just passing through, and Wannabe's boyfriend met the bartender. And in the clinic, no one died.
That's all the news I have to tell you about, so I will talk at you next week. If any of you are still here for break, anyway.

Probably a good thing no one was listening to her to draw the wrong conclusion about everyone else.
