Fandom Radio, January 30

Good evening Fandom, or morning, or whenever you're downloading the podcast. This is Brooke, who is being a responsible egg parent and reporting with little egg baby Suri. Seriously, professors, you need to end this project a couple days early.I keep getting bored and making her clothes.

Anyway, news, shall we?

School, where we get fake babies. Yeah, thanks.

Public Speaking watched a werewolf movie in class, which meant everyone in the class should have ditched like a ditching thing. Turtle was downright bouncy despite the not actually doing anything in class. I don't get it, either. And in the lawyer class, aka where everyone does their talky talk thing, they supposedly learned about environmental law, but Chris and Isabel were all plotty and Wyatt wanted to know why, and Chris and Lana and Annette and Lee did the work. Look, this squirrel is as surprised as I am. I'd give you guys a cookie for that, but that's really more of a Haley thing. And then Sam glared at Dean for coming to class and the teacher had a little older brother bonding session with Dean, which is apparently nothing that should get the authorities called, I'll have you all know.

Gods class talked about human modification. I don't think that sounds like fun. Unless it's like, plastic surgery or something, in which case, still not fun but talk to me in a few years. The class talked about what kind of modification they'd want- if we are talking plastic surgery I could so make guesses- and talked about terminology. And then Sky was told he didn't have to say, but he said he would, and then he didn't, so he came back to apologize. Wow, you so had a free pass there, Sky. Driver's Ed partnered up for car maintenance. And Aravis isn't sick. Um, woo hoo! And Discovery and Invention talked about pain meds. I give a hearty thumbs up to those. They discussed the pros and cons and made their own aspirin. What do you call moonshine for meds? And then Max stayed behind after class to talk to the teacher with the cool name.

The office was half upside dow- If I finish that sentence it'll be like it's true. Moving on. Adah opened the library, and okay, I never would have thought the library would have gossip, but here we are. So River and Adah got into it about something or other and the librarian had to complain about muffins thrown on the floor and this is so not enough detail. Where's the juice, squirrels? We were so close to interesting stuff!

Dorms, where all the drama goes down. Which is how we like it.

Hard to Get Peter had Sam over for some, uh, room decoration? Can't wait to see it, I think. Liir told Teddy that he kissed Andrew, and told him about his weekend with the assurance that glitter was not involved. Good. Seriously, glitter's all sparkly and all, but it doesn't do well when things get all sweaty and then you're finding it all over for weeks. And Triela stuck her head in Teddy's door because she hadn't met him yet. Can't fault that. Jeff spent some time knocking on Turtle's door before finally coming in, talking about work, and then making out with her. Wyatt got a call from Isabel, and then ran off to Lana's because he needs her blood. I think it's like the equivalent of getting someone to take your drug test for you. Later Lana told Chris about her blood donation adventure, and Wyatt did a healie thing on Isabel. This place just gets stranger. And then Billy got bad news from home and Adam offered to help, and Sky's just having a really bad day and talks to Troy about it. Awww.

Liir's still all happy at kissing Andrew, and lets Karal know about it, Inara brought Karal a basket, and Evey returned a couple items and blushed a lot. I'd tease you both if I knew either of you. Dawn had a little mini breakdown at Altra, and do I just have to release puppies into the dorms or something? Maybe robot puppies, something I don't have to clean up after.

Jen spent some time hitting up a punching bag, while Triela complimented her and talked about secret organizations. Might want to ix-nay on the secret onversations-cay around the... squirrels. Look, I'm not really fluent in pig latin.

Town, where people work and play and you still won't stop talking

Billy met up with Cassandra, Anenomemone, Adam, a couple alumni and a partridge and a pear tree. The squirrels insisted they either want rum or some other form of payment in order to cross the causeway. Michael opened Pizza Planet, where Tom was there and bouncy. Groovy Tunes, The Magic Box, the banana stand, the trooper station, and Book Haven were all open but quiet, while A.J. opened Luke's for some milkshaking and foodthrowing with Annette, who also went to the post office to find out that Beauty'd been sick. Remember fellow Fandomites, please remember to wash your hands often because I do not want your germs. Oh, and A.J. solidified date plans for the weekend. Can't skip the relationshippy stuff.

Professor Kerrigan did some work on her spaceship. *pause* Oh-kay. And River went to see it. Look, the spaceship should not be something normal. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who gets that. Johnny got a visit from Savannah at the Photo Hut, Triela asked after Amber's replacement egg baby at Turtle and Canary, and see, this is why you babyproof your fake babies. Isn't that right, Suri? And at the gun place I try to ignore, Cable threw a spear at Ino. See, this is why I try to ignore it! Liir asked into lessons, while Lana got one, and I may have to start thinking you're messing with me on purpose just to freak me out with this gun and spear stuff. It'll help me sleep tonight. Hoshi opened the hotel and met G'Kar, which I think I pronounced wrong, but that will teach you a thing or two about apostrophes, buddy, and then the spear-thrower walked Tether in the park. I have no idea what Tether is but I'm sure it blows up at a moment's notice. Aly congratulated him on a week free of insanity.

....Did I mention the spear-throwing?

Faith was grumpy at Caritas, while a hummy Kabuto freaked out Ino. And at the clinic, Wyatt and Lana asked Dr. Wilson for help with the blood switch. Is that technically legal?

Aly stopped by Roy's with lunch before going out of town, Karal went to check up on Professor Winchester after that whole demon possession thing- oh, is that all- and Bridge waited at Xander's apartment to find out if he's a freak. And the answer is yes. It's a prerequisite for living here. I mean, have you heard the radio?

And that's the end of my notes, and so I'm going to head out. Besides, it's way past Suri's bedtime. I so deserve an A on this damn project.

When Barney listened to the podcast in his office, he laughed so hard he choked a little on his scotch.
