Fandom Radio, January 23
Why hello there, friends, neighbors, educational colleagues or whatever and people I've never met. This is Brooke, just telling you you completely made the right choice in your voting. Pay no attention to the fact that I forgot and hit the bar before coming here. Look, I don't need my fake ID here. It'd be wrong not to take advantage of that.
School, where classes are a cover for people talking when no one's paying attention
Public Speaking talked about turning bad things into snark and discussed how soon is too soon. Can't imagine how you made radio, Professor. And Lawyering Up talked about civil rights and stuff but the interesting stuff didn't have anything to do with the class. Isabel assured Wyatt the teacher can't kill him while he and Chris passed notes about it, as did Chris and Lana, and people, at this rate, just meet up after class and have it out. You're officially killing trees when you could just be listening to the radio. Nathan- okay, I have to call you Professor Petrelli or I'm going to get confused really quick- checked up on Sam, who was all distracted, and then he talked to Wyatt about messing with Peter, and Chris and Isabel waited for Wyatt. Okay, there's gossip mongering and there's gossip mongering and after all that buildup I was expecting a fight. You all disappoint me.
Gods class talked about human cloning, which was a touchy subject for Jen, but she stuck it out. Discovery and Invention worked on classifying stuff, and you'd think high school students would be great at putting labels on things. Driver's Ed with the hot teacher- don't look at me like that, squirrel, I can still say it- learned about brakes and all that other important stuff. Everyone paired up for work, and afterwards Deadpool came to see how teaching's going.
The Mountie held office hours, and I know he has a name but I just want to call him that. Deadpool and Robin both came by, and the office was a little on the cheesy side. Adah opened the library, where Tiny Not-Me apologized for her behavior as me. Hey. River and Adah got their girly flirt on, and Lee told Adah about the weekend weirdness. The great thing about this place is that we're all gonna get mileage out of one weekend forever.
Dorms, where absolutely nothing bad goes on. Really
Troy was insomniatic on the fourth floor in the wee hours, and Sokka spent some time in the fifth floor common room with punch and a chinchilla, which confused Namine and I'm so glad I'm not alone in that.
Triela sent out an E-mail to the members of the Girls with Guns club, and this place scares me again. And speaking of advertising, if you can give some computer help, go see Cimorene in 202. Her posters advertise cookies.
Which seems to be a theme or something around here? Because while apparently Teddy had some oral sex over at Liir's, the squirrels keep insisting it's a cookie. And also, when did I start being okay with the squirrels telling me things and bossing me around? Sky got a phone call and a visit from Teddy, who got to see Sky's work uniform. I don't mean for everything to sound dirty, it just does. Sorry, Teddy. Sam told Dean about his nightmares, which didn't seem to make Dean too happy, Liir went for a little flight and that still doesn't seem normal yet, Karal was checking to make sure Altra's okay, Billy and Annette talked about the weekend and senior year regrets, and John and Jaina did the 'I love you' thing. Yeah. Good luck with that.
Town, where I am right now, imagine that
More advertisements out in town, this time for Satuday's policeman's ball. And no one's asked me yet, for shame. Teyla opened Groovy Tunes, where Triela wanted smart people music and Romeo came by with flowers of apology. Aw, sweet. A.J. opened Luke's, where he told Beauty about being a girl over the weekend. Wow, that's one of the better things I've heard so far. Hoshi opened the Arms, where there was a new guy in town named G... G'Kar? Buy a vowel, please.
Beauty opened the post office and complimented Ino on A.J.'s green hair. Andrew opened the Magic Box, where he told Liir he's not ready for a serious relationship right now and it didn't go well. I don't know either of you, but I sort of want to hug you both and buy you drinks. Teddy stopped by to find out Andrew's intentions with Liir, which, okay, there could have been better timing there, and Isabel was all trying to find out what happened. Next week I want to see your name less associated with the gossip, young lady. Ino opened Wellspring Arms, and I just figured out that wasn't like a smaller version of the hotel or something.
*chittering*
I'm watching a squirrel write with a pencil. Now I understand why their handwriting's so bad. Because it's like, pawwriting. Okay, it says that Wellspring Arms is... making me fear this town some more, great. Anyway, Cable had a warning about Kabuto, and Lana said she's getting training with guns and how does our school not have metal detectors? And then people used the meditation room and the guns and those two things do not go well together in my head. And oh, look! Over at the trooper station, the number to which I am putting in my speed dial, Dale and Renee did some facepalming over the weekend, and Roy and Renee decided to put it behind them, and Roy and Dale and Faith all talked about the weekend and okay, but can we focus on where there's shooting?
Johnny opened the Photo Hut, where Lana came to apologize for that whole almost-hookup thing, and the banana stand, Turtle and Canary and Book Haven were all open for business, if dead.
Cable was getting moody over a picture, so Deadpool brought over America's Next Top Model DVD's. ...That's on DVD? I don't suppose I could get like a burned copy or anything... It's okay, don't worry, VH-1 won't stop running it. Joanna started redecorating her mansion, and I kind of hate her right now. Unless she'd be willing to like, sponsor a girl with some really great taste or something, in which case I totally take it back. Continuing on the cookie theme, and I don't know how you all weigh like 80 pounds each with all the junk food around, George Michael went to Mary's for those and snuggles. The Principal family had some cute time with the baby, aww, and Mike got woken up by a phone call.
Kabuto opened up the Devil's Nest, Wilson got a visit from Andrew at the clinic in the morning, and Ronan was all alone in the evening. Faith opened up Caritas, where she and I got to know each other over cheerleading, Faith and Renee made plans for later, and Dawn was just amused to picture Faith as a cheerleader. I wouldn't have pictured it either, but hey. And my new friend Dawn and I talked about boys! Jenny was happy to see Faith's shirt, Ron pretty much failed at his homework while Professor Stinson watched, and a talking dog came in for a drink. There have to be health code violations there.
And there we are, another day safely reported on. For now. We'll see what happens on my way back. Night, Fandom!

handwavily found an email address for Brooke to which she sent a politely worded (and somewhat enthusiastic) email inviting her to join the Girls with Guns club.
