Fandom Radio- Sunday, August 28
Morning, all. This is Jaye, here with Saturday's news on Sunday. If you're new here, you're being spied on by squirrels. Yes, seriously. Proof is coming.
In regular stuff, at the dorms, Sakaki was getting her new cat settled in when Harry came back to compare trips home. In town, Watts stayed over at Steven's, which made things real awkward when Nell showed up. Lucille and Tisarwat got back from a trip and got to do, and I quote, "roommate stuff."
Diego was late to work due to a haircut-
*chittering*
Squirrels approve.
*trilling*
I don't know what the porg intern thinks. Anyway, Allie woke up in a cell so Diego got her sorted out and sent to the picnic, and he and Annie talked about how weird it must be to go to the school. It's *microphone feedback*ing awesome. Miguel was avoiding teenagers at Luke's, Aloy got set up at her house, and Jane showed up at the causeway in dramatic fashion, and she got to meet Wanda and they're from the same universe-slash-universeish, so that's a good way to break yourself in. Also good: Raiden is a younger double of her ex, but he was nice enough to walk her to the picnic. And I was at Caritas, where Anakin needed a lot of alcohol for reasons we're about to get into!
So the welcome picnic happened, and apparently there was some drama. Let's start with Big and Little Sibs. Kurt got paired with TJ, who is his alternate universe daughter, AND WE ARE OFF TO THE RACES! Meeka came bearing gifts to her big sibling Jo, and Libby had to warn Charlie that they don't have shirtless gatherings here. Maybe during laundry strikes. Gray made sure little sib Beta knows what a school is, and Belle got to tell Allie about people ending up here from other places. Then there were roommates where Allie did a little cursing about having a roommate in front of new roommate TJ, Clare and Beta were high pitched at each other, and Meeka also had presents for roommate Charlie. Uh, can I be friends with Meeka?
*trilling*

Well of course I know what you're saying. The teachers were also around, like poor hungover Summer, who talked to Stark about potential Caritas casino nights and space, unrelated topics. Meeka got welcomed to Fandom by getting to see Sidon, Kitty told Jane about alternate universes and I guess multiple Thors? Anakin was totally cool around Jane- the squirrels are waving confused glitter flags- where Watts and Irene were trying to figure out their deal, and Old Steve got to tell Tony about his Tony, which is not confusing at all. TJ was going around calling Kitty "Aunt Kate," Lana met her teaching buddy Cutter, who's at least up on some of the weird, and Liz wandered over to tell Hannibal she's not sleeping. Peppy picnic conversation. And then Anakin told Jaina how Rey went off on a mission and also he met his wife's doppleganger. As you do.
Raven offered to heal Summer from her hangover, and Hannibal and Raven caught up. Elsewhere, Charlie was promising Graham pie, Gray brought food for Triumph and told him about his brother being here. Buck didn't seem comfortable with student Charlie hitting on him, but she still sought out Eddie, his husband. Charlie also met Aloy, who sent her to Beta, and Marc apparently still lives here, interesting, and heard about anniversaries from Liz.
Charlie and Kurt showed off powers, Charlie asked about Sakaki's cat, and got to hear about surfing from Billy, and tried flirting with Marc, and talked fashion and not flashing people with Irene. I just wanna remind everyone that I'm pretty sure this island's not big enough to be able to skirt the "no housing within a certain distance of a school" rule, so just keep that in mind. Charlie went from calling Scott handsome to calling him "Dad," she asked Raiden to sit with her and he told her about running the pizza place, while Watts and Raiden bonded over a pretzel chain thingie. It probably makes more sense when it's not a note passed to you by squirrels.
Stark and Eddie talked donuts and how he could bring more, maybe for Eddie's husband, Marc asked Lana about her trip, Stark and Watts talked about classes, free food, and food classes with Summer,
Charlie and Gray discovered they have a Fandom sibling in common in Libby, and Gray told said Libby about having a little sib, and also a real big sib in Raiden here. Allie noted Gray lost his shirt, and got to learn about certain Fandom traditions. Allie also learned she'd in the wrong year and Charlie offered to help, and Charlie got to hear about TJ's new familial connection in town. On the other side of that, Kurt got to tell Libby about his daughter hanging around. Weirdness for everyone!
And on that note, I'm done. Don't get me wrong, this was too much talking and the squirrels and I are gonna do a round of shots right now, but I like mess.
