Fandom Radio, Thursday, June 2nd

Good morning, everyone. This is Clint Barton, and I don't know about you, but I definitely feel better this morning after not being woken up by sirens. Let's see what the squirrels caught yesterday.

The shenanigans involved water balloons, which would have been great for the participants if the shirts they had to wear weren't somehow even worse than last week. Steve taunted Tony about the shirts, which makes him a braver man than I am, and Steph and Vi flirted as they got ready for their respective groups. Miguel opted to just go shirtless since all the shirts were fake shirtlessness, and gave his extra to Buck since he seems to actually like them. Will also opted to go shirtless even though Buck worried about being recognizable in teams. I'm thinking that's not the most important thing here. Lana met Eddie as they got teamed up, and Rey promised Will that she'd yell at Anakin about the shirts later. Will it help? Only time will tell. Everyone managed their water balloons without crisis, so that's at least something.

In town, obviously the biggest thing was the kraken drill, which was supposed to involve some consentual bondage, apparently. Summer and Rey tried to figure out how long everyone had to wait if there was no actual kraken, and Summer assured Lana that this was a new type of insanity. Rey and Stark tried to figure out if we're going to have drills for every crazy thing that tries to invade us, which I certainly hope isn't the case, and Rey and Lana assured each other that they didn't sense any actual danger. Rey also met Steven, who apparently looks like her friend Poe, and Steven talked to Irene about restraints, maybe because she brought extras. I love this place sometimes, I really do. Octavia introducted Irene to Duke's porg - I didn't realize we were domesticating those - and Hannibal complimented Irene on being so uniquely prepared. Jon asked Irene for something non-restrictive, and Amaya and Irene talked about how to take out the Kraken if there was one. Shunsui shared his sake with Octavia, because why not drink while waiting for a giant monster? Stark and Travis tried to figure out what was going on, Belle tried to figure out if Five had caused the kraken to show up, and Lana encouraged Lucifer to lodge his complaints about the drill with Anakin. I think maybe he's not the person to blame for this one since no one got ugly clothes to wear while we were waiting outside.

Dwight got back to town after the drill, like a lucky jerk, and Miguel brought him some food and checked up on him. Turtle and Canary was all decorated for Pride Month, and Irene was recovering from the morning at Dite's. At the Trooper Station, poor Danny had to field all the "no, there was no actual kraken" calls, and it looks like most of the regulars recovered in time to go to Caritas.

Goose talked to Summer about trying to stay in touch with Ignis, and Summer and Liz talked about the communication problems they're both having with Prompto as well. Steven and Liz had a drink together, which was probably a nice distraction, and Summer gave Stark all the shots that didn't have bugs in them. Annie showed off her ring to Summer, and talked with Wanda about the joys of having to plan a potentially public wedding. Wanda and Summer got caught up, and she also got to meet Steven, and Jesse assured Summer the kraken drill wasn't her idea. We do know it was a drill, right? Why am I even questioning that now? Summer also got Steven confused with Poe, and Lana and Steven met for the first time. Summer warned Lana about the shot with the bugs, and I feel like this is something that wouldn't need a warning if it didn't exist. Just saying.

That finally looks like everything for me, so I get to escape for another week. Have a good one.
