ANAKIN: Why am I here? Why didn't you kidnap one of the morning run people instead?
*chittering*
ANAKIN: Why does Steve Rogers have a miniature pony? *papers shuffling* Ah, it's in the notes, apparently, so let's start there. In classes, Steve informed the class that Tony was now a pony and made them come up with ideas on how to save the pony from a swamp monster who wanted to eat him. I'm pretty sure there wasn't actually a monster so let's move on. The Chocobros--I am not calling them that--taught their class how to carve pumpkins, and Stark had students watching a show about being a superhero rather than teaching anything useful. And in town, Yasha was weaving tiny pumpkins into flower crowns at the flower shop and before you ask, yes, Rory, I'm picking one up for you on my way home. Dwight was organizing a shipment he'd received from Boston. Since the notes weren't more specific, I'm guessing he got tea. Or potholes. Or angry football fans. Amaya took a break from setting up her new Etsy shop to make masks for a masquerade party. There was a party?
*chittering*
Those are the NOTES for that party? I thought that was trash from the rest of the week!
STARK: No, no, it's Saturday and I'm not Jaskier and someone is already here...and it's Anakin. No, why am I here?
ANAKIN: I think it's to cover the party I didn't go to?
STARK: Why am I being punished for you not going to a party?
ANAKIN: You're just lucky that way.
STARK: This is your fault, isn't it? You did this. Of course you did this. Fine. I'll talk about Margo and Eliot's party and then we can both leave. I hope.
ANAKIN: Well, now that you put that out there, we're probably stuck here until Jaye shows up.
STARK: You said that. I didn't say that. Someone will come rescue us if we need it. I think.
*long, awkward pause*
STARK: Someone will come if we need it. But first, the party. Before everyone arrived, Margo and Eliot talked about what would happen if no one showed up. Which did not happen. Everyone showed up and that's why we have so many notes. So many notes. Irene arrived in a jumpsuit which Margo admired before the conversation turned to bank robberies and deaths that didn't take and this party may have been odder than I thought. Yes. It was. Eliot and Irene were talking about outfits and orgies and this is going to be a long broadcast, isn't it? Maybe we can condense it, somehow? I may need to. Wanda discussed colors, magic, and general island weirdness and decorations with our hosts. The conversations continued being varied when Amaya introduced herself to Margo while discussing axes and then to Eliot while promoting her mask-making abilities. Maybe Amaya and I should talk... Later. After I get out of here. If I get out of here. Lucille was also there to talk about previous Halloweens with Margo and introduced herself to Eliot. When he arrived, Gladio’s lack of shirt was admired by both hosts but not by Ignis. Also at the party was Seivarden to get drinks from Eliot while discussing gloves and to talk about giving up, or not with Margo. Annie got some extra sparkles from Margo which Eliot admired. Buck admired the magical decorations with Margo and being new with Eliot. He is new, isn't he? I still haven't actually met him. Another time, I supposed. If I ever get out of this radio station. Which I won't do until I finish these notes, yes Leroy, I know and you don't need to look at me like that. Ignis met Margo who was pleased with his 'statement color.' Alright. They also talked about some books about Fillory and then Eliot also admired his outfit before offering a drink. Prompto learned Margo is royalty and got a drink from Eliot. Oh, here's me. Margo for me to go with my mask and I got a drink from Eliot after explaining why I was still wearing my usual mask. Only mask. Tisarwat was in attendance with an outfit the squirrels seem to have enjoyed, as did both Margo and Eliot. Prince Sidon was there to meet Margo and talk about magical drinks with Eliot. Lucifer came to meet both hosts. Liz was a bit shy but Margo made sure to invite her in and and Eliot immediately offered a drink to try and make her feel welcome. Rosa got greeted and apparently deemed a ‘Kady' by both hosts. I don't know what that means either. Dwight got to keep his own name when he met Margo and Eliot admired his colorful suit. Also colorful last night was Shunsui in pink while he flirted and drank with the party hosts. I could use a drink now. I don't suppose anyone is sharing their rum this morning? No. I didn't think so. Eric wasn't colorful but his mask and his leather pants were admired by both Eliot and Margo. Steve's outfit was not admired but both Eliot and Margo tried to improve it. Liam's outfit seemed to not need improvement and his mask seemed popular with the hosts. Summer's arrival was a surprise but Margo didn't seem very surprised but Eliot thought she looked darling. Hannibal brought wine for Margo and talked of drinks and plaids with Eliot. Miguel asked Margo if the party had been done with science or magic and showed Eliot photos of another outfit he usually wears. Jon got some changes to his outfit, glitter from Margo and Eliot changed the way it fit for him before Jon took his picture. Duke was wearing a very large necklace when he arrived and Lucifer greeted him to talk about knowing guys in places and Margo asked if he was meant to be a cowboy of some sort. And finally...finally? Finally! Travis arrived and was greeted with a hug from Margo.
ANAKIN: After everyone greeted their hosts, they mingled with each other because they do, in fact, hate me personally. Jon took pictures of Lucille, Seivarden, Buck-not-Bucky, Diego--seriously, many pictures did he take? It's so obnoxious. If you were at the party, assume Jon has a picture of you and if that bothers you, please seek him out directly where I don't have to hear about it. At least Dwight also got his photo?
In non-photography news, Annie showed off her magically sparkling dress to Diego, who was still just wearing back, and then Diego and McGarrett snickered about Danny being a cat before discussing how parties were helping for learning about new people as long as you could follow up with a background check. You go into the creeper stalker pile with Jon, gentlemen. Faye and Stark were also enamored of the magical decorations--Stark's normal mask had been made into a fancy mask--and Faye complimented Eliot on having established his and Margo's reputation as party people. Amaya and Dwight commiserated about being uncomfortable, and Irene stopped to compliment Amaya on her hand-crafted mask. Dwight and Irene came up with other excuses for parties, and Summer's party senses must have been tingling because came back from space just to attend, much to the delight of Annie, Lucifer, Stark, Seivarden, Miguel, and Jon and his kriffing camera. Jon chatted with Liz, Hannibal and Dwight discussed the class trip to Boston, and Stark recommended that Jon drink to avoid the awkwardness. Or maybe just not go? That's my solution. Irene complimented the changes the hosts had made to Jon's outfit.
And there was food and party games and if you thinking I'm recapping Truth or Dare you are out of your tiny little rodent minds. And there was a live actual bear during magic drunken Jenga, so hopefully Jon got a picture of anyone who was eaten. And there was also a game called Let's Give Ourselves Alcohol Poisoning--
*chittering*
ANAKIN: It's basically the same thing. Seivarden, Eliot, and Miguel all played. And that's everything! You will hear from us if we are still stuck in this radio booth, I guarantee it.
*chittering*
