Morning, Fandom, and welcome, newbies. The squirrels are spying on you at all times. The proof is me reporting what you did. You get used to it.
Not much happened in town. Lucille was prepping for Mother's Day at the flower shop and Allie was welcoming new people at the Devil's Nest. The rest was all about-
*little squirrel drum roll*
-the picnic.
Everyone showed up to welcome-slash-traumatize the new kids, so let's start with the big siblings. Sakaki got an introduction to space from Lana, Miles had to tell Malia not to eat animals that might be students, Astrid told Clare about the kidnapping goat demon, and Illyana told Harry she can smell magic on him, so all those kids got some wild introductions to town.
The new kids also got paired up as roommates. Sakaki wanted to know if this meant she'd be rooming with Harry's owl, and Clare was more impressed by the castle than Malia.
The teachers were also there for meeting, where Ben and Ender felt weird about being back here, Hannibal brought booze and food for his teaching buddy Jessica, Miguel welcomed buddy Sidon back after years away, as did Nina, and Clare got to do some staring. That'll happen. Prompto told Stark about what he and Nina did to the bus- Anakin drove a bunny- Yang showed off her new arm to Amaya, Rosa and Jessica did not talk, and Miguel and Rosa talked about why it's good she doesn't get teaching buddies. Is it because she's scary? I bet it's 'cause she's scary. Din didn't know he was teaching till Summer told him, tried to come up with a plan with Faye who was more interested in claiming the bed on the next trip, and he and Kitty set up play dates for their kids.
Tony learned his teaching buddy Sam was an actual eagle, and that actual eagle was not thrilled to see Beaker, Anakin got a visit from Val, and Summer checked in on Nick. Meanwhile Jessica just went to him to share alcohol, and Yang and Prompto had a tense reunion.
Elsewhere, Nell asked to sit with Sakaki, Lucille and Tisarwat talked about returning people, and Hannibal brought food to share with Seivarden. Wanda was pretty popular, with Old Steve finding out she's going to make her furniture, she and Travis talked about lucking into their jobs, Bob had magic questions, Illyana thought she was from her universe, while Kitty figured she wasn't. Seivarden and Tisarwat caught up, Lucille thought Enola might be from around her time, Malia thought Ulysses looked like he might get eaten, and Illyana brought him a present.
Miles asked Miguel about his class, Nell checked in on Clare and bumped into Harry, Lana asked Illyana who looked interesting, Nell and Travis talked about getting a dog, and Lana complimented Lydia's style. Stark and Faye talked about their classes, Stark was concerned about Bob not being alive, and Lydia just asked him if he knows he's dead.
