Fandom Radio, Thursday, February 11th
Hello everyone, this is Clint Barton. Uh, how's everyone doing? I know yesterday wasn't pleasant, so I'm going to be as kind as I can with these notes.
Over at the school, the Career Development class talked about flirting, in time for Valentine's Day. The Cognitive Logic in Understanding Evidence students had to present their evidence and theories to Rosa, and the Flight and Flying class couldn't get into the flight shed due to the extra baggage falling around, so they talked about how to help aircrafts avoid flying objects instead. In the dorms, Sabine took the opportunity to paint her baggage, which seems like a good way to deal with this crap, and she and Astrid tried to figure out the point of all these things that go unsaid being put on blast instead. Because sometimes the island hates us, that's why. Adora had to try not to get squished by her baggage, which also brings up the point that this wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't, you know, physically painful to get hit by flying luggage. Illyana made a little pocket of warmth out on the deck and was, as the children say, yeeting her luggage away. Tahani brought her bags downstairs and Illyana disposed of them as well, and Lana agreed with her on how annoying this day was. Illyana also helped Adora get rid of her bags, which does sound kind of theraputic.
In town, Silver just kind of let the baggage do its thing at his place, and Rey went by to make sure he was all right. Seivarden tried not to let the baggage bother her, and Stark tried to stay out of the way of his bags. Duke and Octavia were equally annoyed by the messaged and by how much space the bags took up, and Liam and Annie talked a little about what some of their bags meant. See, people were opening up, no need for this to ever happen again. Lucille made her baggage into a decoration, which seems right up there with painting it, and Travis got to deal with this crap for the first time. Yasha stayed with all her bags in her hotel room, and Jessica just stayed in bed because yeah, sometimes it's just easier to let this stuff happen. The Fandom Home Companion folks got to talk about all the baggage crap. Lucifer took his bags to the park and threw them into the pond, and Duke came by with bags and an axe for even more therapeutic purposes. I approve of all of that.
Shunsui tried to figure out which luggage at Turtle and Canary belonged to him, and Danny was trying to ignore his luggage at the Trooper Station. Steve texted with him about all the luggage at their place, and Diego was understandably annoyed. Travis didn't quite know what was happening, and Danny was kind and filled him in. Unsurprisingly, there were a lot of people at Caritas, and Summer had jello shots for all. Seivarden checked in to see how she was doing, and she and Stark just hoped it would only last one day. Annie was dragging her bags with her as training, which I guess is better than letting them get to you, and Annie and Stark talked a little about the bags they'd accumulated. Annie also checked on Travis since this was all really unpleasant, and Stark and Travis were both happy to get drinks. Stark tried to cheer Travis up, and Travis pointed out to Jesse that this sort of thing needed to be in a guide for new people. Lucifer also stopped in to let people know he was starting a bonfire for the luggage, which seems smart as well.
And that finally looks like everything. I hope everyone's doing better today, and if not, there's always the bars. Have a good one, folks.
