Good morning, and happy Thanksgiving to you all. I've got important eating duties waiting for me, so let's get through these notes.
At the school, this week's assembly was about food, appropriately enough. The students all got baskets of food to cook into a meal, or not. Illyana and Lana compared ingredients to see if anything edible could happen, and Lana helped Tahani open cranberry sauce with a lightsaber. That seems like overkill, but you do you. Shuri didn't seem concerned about making food, and Wei Wuxian, Lana, and Shuri made a fire to try to cook their food, which resulted in the sprinkler system going off, which sprayed them with water and glitter. I don't know how that's effective at doing anything but discouraging fires, but okay. Then, of course, it all turned into a food fight, while Anakin and Stark tried to get the glitter off of themselves. Sorry guys.
In town, the Modern Earth Entertainment group watched a classic funny Thanksgiving movie, and Lucille and Tisarwat talked about getting a music player in the flower shop. At Turtle and Canary, Shunsui tried to avoid the cheese panda crying in the back room, which is a grammatically correct sentence that still doesn't make sense, and at Caritas, Summer, of course, had Thanksgiving-themed jello shots going. Jesse continued to decline the shots, and she and Summer talked about Summer's Thanksgiving plans. Eleanor did some appropriate karaoke and then had her shots while talking to Summer about sticking around here for the holiday. Annie and Summer teased each other about what they did over the weekend, and Stark tried to figure out which of the jello shots was the most palatable.
