Good morning, Fandom. This is Jaye, and I'm not dead anymore.
Yep. Yesterday was an adventure. Let's get into that.
In other town news, Diego lazy dressed for Halloween at the trooper station, Lucille was working on Halloween flowers at the shop and got a visit from Shunsui, who wanted a new bonsai tree and to congratulate her on getting the store. And Mayor Jesse stayed home and played on her phone.
And now the big stuff. There was a Halloween party at Caritas, where at the bar, Wayne was blue enough to get some stares from Stark and Nina, who he told that the Halloween Heist made him blue. Literally. At the party proper, Kitty and Rosa showed up as the same thing, Summer was caught off guard but Rey's outfit but appreciated what she stuck Silver in, since he and Rey just flirted over their costumes. Annie checked in with Rey on her makeup and explained what cowboys actually did, and Jaskier and Rey talked about some of the regrettable costumes they'd seen. Stark appreciated Rey's sparkle, while Nina just wanted to get pictures. Summer and Annie had compliments about each other's costumes before getting pictures together, Silver and Lucifer decided you could skip most holidays and get to the heavy drinking- truth- and Silver and Jaskier decided to trade hats. I'd love to know how that worked out later. I didn't see it because... dead.
New Steve and Silver talked about how cold they were being shirtless, and know that we appreciate your sacrifice. Annie and Diego were apparently adorable taking pictures and making dancing dates, she and Lucifer talked about his purple suit and throwing dudes, and she and Nina talked about warm costumes since it's November as of me reading this. Rosa and Lucifer yelled stuff at each other while Nina snuck pictures of Rosa. Kitty had advice on how to punch up Lucifer's costume, Duke and Lucifer talked about Octavia being a raccoon and then brought the party way, way down, while on the total opposite end of the spectrum, Kitty and Tony showed off their respective dressed-up child and dog to each other. Tony got to admire Old Steve in the outfit a little, and Jaskier told Stark how he's ready for bed in his costume, wink wink. The squirrels actually wrote "wink, wink" because apparently there was actual winking. Kitty complimented Stark's costume while Lexi liked his cape, and Lucifer and Danny talked about Halloween murders. Did I mention I died?
Annie asked Danny about his daughter's Halloween and about cookie baking, Duke started asking more personal questions about Danny's life, Kitty judged Duke for dressing as a raccoon to match his animal transformed girlfriend, and speaking of, Octavia is still a raccoon and was at the party. Duke was also confused as to what Nina was, Old Steve wanted to see Lexi as a sheep, and New Steve told Danny he was fine being shirtless because he had beer from Duke. That is not in fact how that works. Kitty liked Nina's costume while Liam wasn't sure what she was, and for the second week in a row Anakin got quite a bit of attention, this time in his Princess Doctor Puppy Ballerina costume. It made Rey feel better about looking like frilly bubblegum, at least. He told Stark his kids picked it out, and Nina got photographic evidence.
Liam and Verity showed, with Liam telling New Steve and Annie that he also didn't choose this, he and Rey talked about the implausibility of Martians, and Liam being a spaceman got Stark talking about home. Liam told Danny he told him so on someone hosting a party, and Nina wanted to talk to me about Anakin Skywalker's Common Law Bus Wife.
And then sundown came and everything went to hell and people turned into their costumes. The Phantom skulked around in the lounge before taking the stage, where Roger Rabbit had some requests. Jaskier and a Smurf took refuge at the bar, and in the party area, hoo boy. Tisarwat and Lucille were vampires who preyed on Sir Blackstone, two Little Bos Peep lost their sheep, which was alarming to Clint since one of those sheep was his daughter, but Princess Doctor Puppy Ballerina and Fred were on the case. At least I think that's the case he and Daphne were trying to solve. A bat got tangled in a Bo Peep's hair, only to get magicked out by Glinda the Good Witch, there were now two raccoons and Lucifer had to keep one away from his alcohol. Danny tried to get help from New Steve only to find out that he was a surfer dude named Flow. God, I wish I'd seen that. Couldn't! Bet you know why! Danny also noped out on Princess Doctor Puppy Ballerina, and he at least found someone normal in Diego, who found out that oh, Danny's a vampire, but Diego promised to punch him and/or lock him in a closet if he tried to eat any people or bats. And of course I, a vampire bite victim, was dead, and attended to by Princess Doctor Puppy Ballerina.
I'm torn between hoping no one got evidence of that because of the existential crisis it would cause me, and hoping someone did because that's hilarious.
All right. That's it. Have a more normal day, people. Maybe day drink some.
