Fandom Radio, Wednesday, May 22nd

Good morning everyone, this is Clint Barton coming to you from the comfort of my own home. This isn't terrible, but I still don't want squirrels in my house every week so... I hope you've all been staying relatively dry. Let's see what watery adventures you all had yesterday.

At the school, The Mid-Century Cookbook class got to make Prawn Stuffed Apples--I don't know if I can make that sound like a privilege, sorry--and even Steve was wary of actually eating the snack, so that's not a good sign. The Your Plan is Now on Fire class watched a movie in the safe, dry Danger Shop, and the Wilderness Adventures class lived up to its name by getting everyone into the water and making sure they know how to swim. That's a good idea for what we're dealing with. Finally, the Fun With Science class worked on making hydroelectric generators since hey, we might as well do something useful with all this water.

In the dorms, Nina was trying to sign up for a library card and got annoyed when the system asked her for a last name, so she and Vette came up with last names that went well with their regular names. In town, Sidon was swimming around living his best life, and he told Mae that he's upset places are flooded buuut... hey, there's no reason to feel bad. We've got an ideal setting right now for some people, so they should get to enjoy it. Mitsutada had to deal with the staff at Luke's pretending to have terrible Cajun accents, and Zack had all the non-swimming animals at the Animal Shelter upstairs, though Wayne was just happy to be able to play with dogs that were actual dogs again. That was pretty weird last week, I'll agree with you. Kitty found that Caritas is dry on the inside, which is excellent news for her business and my sanity. Kanan came by for his weekly drink fix and told Kitty weird stories from his life to entertain her, Rosa wanted to know if there was maybe a giant plug somewhere that could make all this water go away, and Wayne came by looking for a Canadian beer which Kitty happened to have because she's the best. In my totally unbiased reporter opinion, of course.

That's everything so... I mean, it seems silly to say "stay dry" but I'm going to throw it out there anyway. Have a good one.
