Fandom Radio, Saturday, February 23rd
Oh, so now you guys want me to read notes for you? What happened to the regular Saturday person?
*chittering*
... Ah, she's a cat. Peter, you might want to check on your roommate.
Hello, Fandom. This is Kanan Jarrus, broadcasting to you from what might be the most beautiful part of this planet, because Seivarden doesn't currently have vocal cords capable of producing Basic. Not that I'm bitter about being the last minute last resort, but sure, guys. Thanks. Give me the notes.
Which, from here on, all take place in Iceland, so that's good, I guess. In the morning, Hannibal took in the coffee at the hotel, all the better for yet another bus ride. Though at least Sabine seemed to be enjoying the trip in to Dalvik. I did some meditating and send some whale watching photos and videos to Rey, Sidon seemed to have mixed feelings about the whale watching, and Keyleth went swimming. As a polar bear.
Hey, first polar bear on the trip! Congrats, Keyleth. You just accidentally validated a bar conversation I had last week.
In Bifrost, people took in the cafe or went riding horses, though Dr. Lecter was more interesting in talking Jon out of bringing home souvenirs. Steve and Tony were getting pictures, Amaya enjoyed the cafe, Kitty introduced Lexi to the horses - the Lexi verdict is that horses are pretty great - and Prompto absolutely went horseback riding.
And then there were more waterfalls, which meant Astrid was sketching and Beaker was stressing out the chaperones again. Well. Peebee and Sabine were spectating and Dr. Lecter seemed to have given up on caring, but Miguel attempted to reason with the kid.
... Good luck, Miguel.
In the evening it was back to Reykjavik, where Summer lamented drinking ages and she and Hera talked about going to the pub crawl together as non-drinkers. Sorry I tapped out on that, ladies. It would not have been a great time for me. Anyway, there was in fact a pub crawl, instigated by Rosa, who explained the meaning of the phrase 'Baby Linetti' to Miguel and who was absolutely going to get Amaya to spill the mystery of the axe at some point during the night. Skywalker and Miguel bonded over 'why, Beaker, why,' Rosa and Skywalker thought of all the ways the students could have done something horrible on the trip - it isn't too late, kids, we still have half a day - and Skywalker exchanged awkward greetings with Dee. As you do, I guess, with your roommate at a pub crawl.
Elsewhere, and really, I probably should have followed his lead last night, Kaidan was taking a quiet walk through the town and down by the thermal beach.
And that's all the notes the squirrels wrote, so this is Kanan, the squirrels' second choice in Saturday radio hosts, signing off. There's still time to try to steal a reindeer to really give Skywalker a headache, after all...
