Fandom Radio, Monday, October 8th
Fandom, hey. I'm gonna try to get this over with quick, so you can all go on your trip without too many feelings about the weekend. This is Kanan Jarrus, and here's some stuff that nominally actually counts as news, I guess.
Emotionally intrusive news.
Over at the library, Lana was meditating.
Bob was giving the crystals at the Magic Box a side-eye, and Fenris had an affectionate kittenwillow keeping him company over at Covent Garden.
And I'm pretty sure that's it for the notes that aren't about people's dearly departed guests. You can shut your radio off now if you don't want to hear the rest.
Sparkle was looking at cute animals on the internet during his Demon Marcus shift when Dante swung by and introduced him to his mom. Awn stopped in too, looking for somebody she didn't know the name of, and Sparkle talked with her for a while over tea. Looks like Awn did eventually find who she was looking for, and they wound up talking for a while on the beach. I hope that went well for them both. Up on the roof of the MCA, I did a little bit of catching up with my old friend, Stance. Yes, I did name my dog after him. Yes, it's fitting. Kathy had her sister out for ice cream at the Chilly Boulder, which meant that Sarah got to meet Ringo, Alluka, and Parker, who talked about blackmail, death, and jerks, respectively.
Caritas was open, and Atton wasn't tending the bar alone, at least for the first part of the night. And it looks like he managed to talk Meetra into not only a duet, but a solo number after that, which ended in-- Ah. I'm going to just move on to the bar notes, where Atton was serving her drinks, talking about winding down with them, that sort of thing. Ash stopped by for whiskey and to talk Fandom Island trauma with Atton, Kaidan caught up to her and she... questioned his choice in friendships, apparently. Sure thing, Ash. Kaidan and Atton talked a little bit about the whole guest thing, too. I almost regret not taking Stance out for drinks, but I'll admit I don't even know how he holds... held... his liquor.
Well, that was a fun moment, there. Let's just move right on into the sad farewells and get this over with. I'll try not to get into anything too personal here, I had my own visitor, I get it. Sia saw her father off with a hug. Angeal left alone. Atton caught up with Meetra after the bar thing. Dante saw his mother off, also with a hug. Sidon saw off Mipha and there were heartfelt words of encouragement. Kathy and Sarah exchanged sisterly words of love before Sarah left. Kaidan saw Ash off with a hug and a salute. Liam saw his mother off, and then Verity was there to offer him comfort afterwards. I, uh, finally told Stance what my dog's name is. And Summer saw her brother off with talk of his video game habit and also hugs.
Should I have hugged Stance? Great. I'm going to worry about this, now. Anyway, that's all the notes, I hope you're all hanging in there, Fandom. Enjoy the trip if you're going, and if not... enjoy life. You get one. Live it.
Until next week, Fandom.

Because Kanan was truly poetic.
