Fandom Radio, Sunday, September 30th

Barney: At some point, I'm gonna learn to take everything you say about this place seriously.

Clint: I told you - squirrels with notebooks aren't even the weirdest part. Come on, you can help me, there's probably going to be a lot of stuff to read.

Let's see. It looks like a lot of teachers were over at the school in their offices. Fjord was looking up how to do parent-teacher interviews when Yang's mother came by, and Karolina had cookies prepped like a smart woman who knows how to win people over. Hannibal got visited by a Dr. Honeydew, and Steve had swing music going in his office, in case anyone needed a reminder that he's a senior citizen.

Barney: A senior citizen who can wipe the floor with you.

Clint: I think he'd be secretly disappointed if I didn't make fun of him every chance I get. Anakin got a visit from someone in a robe who freaked the squirrels out, as well as Yang's mother, who wanted to know about the Ethics class, and a parent who wanted to know what kind of influence Anakin has on the students. A good one, or he wouldn't have the job he has, duh.

Barney: Are you pointing at me because you want me to go now? Uh, okay, in town, Reno went to see his friend Tseng at the Arms Hotel and discovered there's actually three Tsengs here. What?

Clint: It's probably a multiverse thing.

Barney: ...I know you think that answered my question, but it really didn't. So, there's apparently three of this guy running around, one who knows Reno, one who knows Ino, and one who knows their friend Rufus, and I'm going to assume they got that all straightened out without a problem. Miguel was a good man who made breakfast for his brother--

Clint: Oh please, like you'd trust anything I cooked for you.

Barney: I trust Kitty more, but that's not the point. Anyway, Miguel was cooking when Mitsutada's friend Tsurumaru came down and insulted his cooking. That's awfully rude for first thing in the morning. Reno also brought his Tseng back to the house, and Miguel made sure they had food and coffee before going off to talk about personal business. Steve came back from a run and found--okay, "his" Tony--

Clint: That's the Tony from his version of our universe, which is also mine but the time is weird sometimes.

Barney: --"Fandom" Tony?

Clint: --that's the one that lives here.

Barney: --and Jan?

Clint: --that's Tony's friend who I only sort of know because she's from his universe.

Barney: What the actual fuck?

Clint: *laughing* If you came to visit me more often, this would be slightly less of a headache.

Barney: Yeah, I don't think that's true. Kaidan got a visit from his friend Jack, and they went out to the rocky bits to fight, both verbally and physically. Bobby had an extremely awkward meeting with his parents, who are actually the parents of a different version of him but who came to Fandom anyway. The squirrels want to make sure I say Uma is the best roommate ever for helping him out with that, which I have to admit is kind of sweet. Liam and Verity got a surprise visit from Verity's family, who they weren't expecting, but this meeting at least went well with everyone getting along. And I'm officially getting a headache from the universe stuff, so the rest of these are yours.

Clint: Ha, that's fine. The Student Council had a nice thing going on in the park for visiting families. Lana and her visitor met Jack while they were pumpkin carving, and they ended up talking about the difference between the Force and biotics, which is what Jack and Kaidan have that lets them do cool stuff. Miguel and Gabriel made friendship bracelets because playing paintball wouldn't have gone well, which is also why Barney and I took Kitty on a nice safe trip to Chilly Boulder.

Barney: There's nothing safe about watching a pregnant woman eat. I didn't think weird food cravings were real.

Clint: I'll let you settle that with her later. Hernando was watching all the new people at the Perk, and got to meet Jack when Kaidan introduced her. Jack also got to meet Sparkle and find out a little more about how Fandom works, and she made Kaidan introduce her to Peter because, well, she has eyes that work. Atton and his guests took a tour of the island and ended up at Galactica Point where Kanan was meditating, and he and Mical ended up talking about how bad the island can be sometimes. Miguel made sure everything was set up for the day at Luke's Diner, Mary had trouble with towels fighting back at The Arms Hotel, and Mike had his friend Richie visiting with him at Caritas. Richie was very amused by the bar, and even more entertained when Brooke showed up since he didn't know Mike had a girlfriend.

Barney: Was that awkward? That sounds awkward.

Clint: I don't know, but the important thing is that was the last of the notes.

Barney: Okay, now what do we do?

Clint: We say goodbye and go get coffee. Have a good one, and enjoy being with your families, if that's your thing.
