Fandom Radio, Monday, May 14th
Hey, Fandom! It's me again, Kanan. Those of you who are new to the island might know me as 'that guy who drove the bus.' I'm also 'that guy who reads what the squirrels said about you on Monday mornings,' but I assume you got a taste of that yesterday with Clint's broadcast.
Unless you were sleeping. Kriff, I wish I was sleeping right now.
Anyway, there are notes. In fact, there's one note from the Dorms, which is how I know there are new students. It looks like Astrid was having some difficulty calling her mother in the dorm lobby, and was running through quarters in the attempt. Somebody hook her up with a cell phone and the internet, would you? Make things easier on her next time.
In Town, Sabine found her way into an abandoned warehouse and immediately started painting. Not my first choice for an abandoned warehouse, but I can see the appeal. Rey was fixing everything at Stark Industries. Everything. The staff at Luke's was actually being pretty respectful yesterday, calling up their mothers and so on when Summer messaged me with a picture of the saddest stack of pancakes I've ever seen in my life and a request for a distraction. Sparkle was busy with the Mother's Day crowd at Demon Marcus when Seivarden came in for clothes and wound up telling him that, where she's from, he'd be drugged by medical professionals for painting his nails in public. I honestly don't even know where to start unpacking that one. Maybe I'll just start painting my nails. Sparkle also got a text from Sia, and they talked about Atton and fish. I have no idea how the squirrels even got in close enough to know that's what they were discussing, but I imagine if they were better at it, we'd all also get to know what those things even have in common. And, at Groovy Tunes, Jono was playing guitar.
And that's all the notes for today. I'm going to go back to bed or to walk my dog or to whatever store in town sells nail polish, I think. Until next time, Fandom.
