So, uh, does anybody else know what's up with that plant that's all over the place? I've had to fend it off a few times before I got here, and if you listen closely, you can still hear it scratching at the doors trying to get in. I don't want to have to bust out my blaster to get home all for the sake of a plant, but that stuff refuses to be reasoned with.
That said... I have notes. So I'm going to read those off, since apparently I'm trapped in here anyway. The dorms and the school were quiet, as usual, but there was some activity over at 33 Apocalypse, where Kathy was attempting to make cookies in spite of all the power outages. Raven chatted with her about where the lights came from, and they thought about the possibility of installing a few solar panels. Which, honestly, is basically the smart thing to do around here anyway. Earth has a good sun for it.
Elsewhere in town, Jono was attempting to make a holiday list at the Groovy Tunes in spite of the power outages. Sparkle was perfectly happy sitting in the dark at Demon Marcus... and eating in the dark when Dr. Lecter arrived with lunch. I was about to complain that nobody ever brings me lunch at work, and then I remembered I work in a diner. Where I was yesterday, also sitting in the dark because nobody warned me about the power limitations here before I turned the lights back on. Summer stopped by and agreed to order a meal that didn't need to be cooked, thank you Summer, and we talked a little bit about what the point of Christmas even is anyway.
And, finally, Atton was stubbornly trying to make the lights work at Caritas to no avail, when Sparkle showed up with an emergency light, presumably to give him a hard time about it.
And that's it. That's the notes. If I don't make it home today, the weird berry plants got me. Wish me luck, Fandom.
