Fandom Radio, Monday, June 20th
Good morning, Fandom. This is Kanan. Again. Because not a Monday can go by without my voice being broadcast across the island.
Basically, either you're stuck with me or I'm stuck with you. Whichever it is, I'm stuck sitting here reading notes written by drunk squirrels. So, the news. Or whatever passes for it around here. Starting with Face's shift at the library, which he mostly slept through. At least until Cassandra showed up, and heard all about how he was tired from all the hard work he had to do earlier.
Sure, pal. I bet she bought that.
The dorms were quiet again, but there was some activity in town, with me laying down the law about taste testing over at Luke's, and Rey working Very Hard over at Stark Industries.
Everything else is Caritas, where people showed up for a party. Your typical sort of bar party, including your typical sort of conversation about dying and coming back as a kid courtesy of Tamsin and Kitty. Uh. Okay. Éponine told Kitty about hungry couch cushions after learning from her that the reason for the party was boredom, and from Tamsin that the reason for the party was booze. And hating when people die. I feel like I'm missing some important if horrible context here, I'm gonna be honest.
Confirming this feeling is the fact that Tamsin then made sure Jessica hasn't died recently. While talking to Jessica. Who isn't dead. Kitty kept the conversation with Jessica a little lighter, talking about work and about brains and punching. At least Jaina was leaving news that makes sense. She was there for the drinking before people played a round of I Never.
So. Do, uh, do people die often around here? Is that something I need to look out for?
Yeah. I'm gonna just... gonna just go.
