Fandom Radio [Thursday, August 23]

Pam: Hi! This is Pam who doesn't have boils and can talk and Jim who has functional knees! ...I think. I mean, I'm not Jim and I'm not really looking at his knees.

Jim: But I'm wearing shorts, so if she really wanted to, she could. If anyone else wants to look at my knees, they'll be on display tomorrow in my room while I play games on my phone.

Pam: You still haven't knocked my scores out yet, have you?

Jim: That's a private matter that I will not discuss on the radio.

Pam: So that's a yes.

Jim: That's a 'read the news, Beesly.'

Pam: So touchy.

School, where there were workshops and office hours and construction, oh my

Pam: In the...*whispers* Crap, do you know her title now? She's not headmaster anymore.

Jim: *whispers back* Head Inquisitor or something. The very nice Head Inquisitor that has really earned her place here, may she stay forever.

Pam: Yes, her. Um. She held office hours and was visited by Naomi, Dick, Jaina, Annette, Mrs. Harvelle, Master Skywalker, Bridge, Hermione and Charlie all visited after the announcement this morning. There was also lunchAndrew and Robin.

Jim: At the construction site, Stark worked hard and Constable Fraser was distracted. And if it weren't for the fact that it would probably be breaking some of the Head Inquisitor's rules, I'd encourage people to test that distraction and see if you could get away with stuff. Oh well. Awesome class was awesome. After a quick lecture, we suited up and played... wait for it... laser tag. I'm going to miss that workshop. In Guns That Fire Bullets, Not Lasers, and Me, Professor Winchester talked about gun maintenance and staying away from the High Inquisitor. The students took guns apart and cleaned them, but that really won't be impressed until they can do it blindfolded while singing children's songs. Got to work on that, people. And there was confirmation that a certain former principal might return. But not anytime soon, we hope, because we'd miss High Inquisitor Umbridge way too much. Right, Pam?

Pam: So much. You got to play laser tag? Really?

Jim: And I did better than you would have, Little Miss Tetris.

Pam: Doubt it.

Jim: That's the great thing about being right. Somebody's always there to be wrong for you.

Pam: Yeah, I know, because I'm right. Anyway, Flight and Flying took a shuttle to space. Coooool! Then they played in an asteroid belt and empty space. And then something else happened but my notes are blurry. Something about the High Inquisitor. I bet they talked about how much they all love her. Anemone, Marco, Qui-Gon, Sam, Rikku and Aly all talked to Master Skywalker. In History of Magic, they recapped. Anders was sad and hugged Phoebe, who talked to Tori and Eve. Practical Applications finished their go-karts and raced, and Naomi told John that the High Inquisitor did something to her hands. Healed them, I bet. She has a soft touch.

Jim: And probably band aids with kittens on them, which is awesome.

There's no place like dorms, there's no place like dorms

Jim:
Chad and Teddy are both human, so Ronan celebrated that by feeding them. Marie got a phone call, Karal dealt with the Jerries and Jack, and AJ visited a sick Annette. Feel better, Annette! Hermione was studying even though summer classes are SO CLOSE to being over. And Naomi had an angry one sided conversation in her room.

Pam: In the fifth floor common room, there was cookie-baking. River tried to get John to be creative, and Molly told John she was back. I'd kind of think that'd be obvious because she's...there. River welcomed her back, and Seely made triple chocolate cookies and tested cookie dough with John. Savannah was gleeful over her new boyfriend, River encouraged creativity in Annette, too, and Chad put Tabasco on his cookies -- ew -- and Johnny was glad his tongue worked, and talked to Billy.

Jim: Over in the gym, Cheer Camp started and I can't help but think that this is the best thing ever. Before lunch, Buffy and Molly talked about weaponry and their vacations. Buffy and River talked baking while Savannah was ready to cheer. Buffy and Annette worked out some cheers for invasions, which I suggest you should do with bomb bombs that you throw instead of pom poms that you shake. And now Buffy knows that John "Cottontail" Sheppard was a bunny at one point. And I know it too. Want a carrot? Hippity Hop promised to teach River how to surf and Buffy told Chad that Fandom was full of fun guys. Sorry. She said it's like fungus. Same thing. Alec and Buffy caught up as she told him all about vampires. Apparently she was coaching little league this summer. And then people started going crazy with all kinds of cheerleader stuff. There were acrobatics, people throwing other people, and meetings between Buffy and Claire.

Pam: Breathe. Chad dined lightly, and Professor Deadpool taught them about kicking and then for some reason talked to River about weasels, before he promised Buffy he'd teach her to fight. Then he taught Annette to defeat a mugger, and Z how to rumble, but he neglected John. Sad. Speaking of sad, Stark was pensive and sad on the roof, and then joined by Anne before Billy stopped by.

*pause*

Jim? Jiiiiiiim?

....okay, it looks like Jim's fallen asleep. Awww. He's like a giant puppy! Hang on.

*rustling, then sound of uncapping a pen and drawing for a little while*

Okay, back. Anyway, I guess I'm solo for the next little bit. I should totally reset all the high scores on all the games on his phone. Um, anyway.

Townies, where people who aren't Jim probably are sleeping or passed out

Charlie opened Groovy Tunes, Leo opened Photo Hut, Gabriel opened the church, Giles opened the Magic Box and was visited by Andrew, Sean opened the sporting goods store and was visited by Johnny, the one I don't like. Millie opened Book Haven, Turtle opened Turtle and Canary and was visited by Jeff, Charlie and Professor Deadpool, Sokka opened the post office, and Naminé opened Café Fina and was visited by Valentine.

There was also a cheerleading party at Pizza Planet. Buffy talked to River about pizza toppings, to John about Professor Deadpool, and to Savannah about cheer camp. Savannah then talked to John about panther cubs. Okay. John then talked to Z, too.

Meanwhile, Andrew met Isabel and Neil at the Perk. Joanna oversaw work on her golf course and was bothered by John Connor. And Karal and Molly went riding.

John Connor watched TV until Anemone stopped by, and Mr. Winchester watches TV with his new daughter. Awwwwwwwwww. On a less 'awwwwwww' note, Constable Fraser brought injured Aly and injured Sheriff Mustang home. Oh no. Feel better guys. Jim says that, too, if by 'Jim,' you mean 'Jim's arm, which I've been drawing and writing on.' Because we needed another guy named Johnny, there's a guy with a radio thing now.

Phoebe opened Caritas tonight. Anders, Bel -- which ended in the former passing out on the latter -- Tori and Eve all stopped by.

And in the clinic, both shifts were quiet.

And that's it. I now have the job of trying to either wake Jim up or drag a guy a foot taller than me back to the dorms. Either way, wish me luck. Night, everyone!"
