Fandom Radio, Sunday, December 6

Good morning, everyone. For those of you who are, uh, new to town, this is Sam Winchester, with your Sunday news. If you saw any squirrels yesterday, I hope you were friendly.

It's so nice to feel normal for once. I hope that's not mean to say. Let's see, we'll start with the dorm notes, like usual. Sarah woke up in one of the dorm rooms and tried to figure out where she was, and Ada thought she was Cosima since they look identical. Dawn wandered around the third floor of the dorms, trying to figure out where she was--this is going to be a common theme today, be prepared--and someone who's not Kathy was yelling outside her window in Korean. Okay, apparently her name is Lightning; Dante was out on the deck reading a magazine when Lightning came by and tried to sell him noodles, which didn't go very well since Dante understood her Korean, but she didn't understand his English. Mara was in the third floor common room in the morning having eggs--no, wait, she had an egg which is apparently her boyfriend Eggsy. Yeah, that was a terrible misread, sorry Mara. Anyway, Mara also helped Dutch try to figure out where she was, since she'd never heard of Fandom, and Garak was in the first floor lobby offering tailoring services. At least that's kind of pleasantly useful.

Over in town, Jean Baptiste didn't know whose apartment he'd woken up in, and when Sarah came by to find Atton, she was annoyed that Atton wasn't himself. Sparkle, on the other hand, tried to make Jean Baptiste feel welcome, and pointed him towards coffee and food, which was very nice of him. Obi-Wan woke up in his hut and spent a lot of time swearing for some reason, and when Lightning showed up with noodles, they actually managed to communicate a little so he could pay her for the food. Anakin also stopped by and was very surprised at Obi-Wan's more swear-y state, especially when he didn't recognize Anakin. Clint woke up next to Kitty, except it was a Kitty who didn't really recognize him, so that was probably fun to deal with. Tristan woke up in Hannibal's very nice bed, and Jono tried to keep him calm past the English-to-Latin barrier they had going on, and found that feeding Tristan helped. Food usually goes a long way in these situations.

Down at the docks, Francis was checking a dinghy to see if it was seaworthy; he got noodles from Lightning, and Thorin told Francis about Fandom and tried to help him figure out how to get back to France. Lightning was wandering all over town to get people their noodles--Four, who is apparently a fuzzy number four, introduced himself to her, and Jake actually managed to get noodles because he speaks Korean. Caine was sulking in a corner at Caritas - hopefully someone told him where he really is - and when Wash came in looking for alcohol, Zoe ended up hugging him and talking to him about where he'd woken up. Okay, that's... something for me to find out about later. Finally, Kitty was lurking around the warehouse district doing the patrolling thing.

That's all the notes for today, and I'm sure the squirrels will have fun watching you guys for tomorrow's news. Have a good one!
